- Hello everyone. In this video, you learn how to Copy Items or Files between SharePoint Sites in different Tenants using Power Automate.
I will share a simple step-by-step approach to creating flow in the source or destination tenant.
#PowerAutomate #SharePoint #Copy file
Thank you for this video. It is really going to make my work a lot easier to manage data & file distribution across multi tenants
Happy it helped you, thank you for watching.
Great video, Deepak! I have a question: I only have one email address that I use to log into both tenants (I'm an owner on one tenant and have edit rights on the other). Do I need two different email addresses to make this work?
Hello found any solution to that? i have the same problem
@Deepark Thanks for the video. Connection is successful for destination tenant and it shows the libraries as well but it gives me Access denied on create file action while copying site page where as i do have full access on destination tenant.
Thanks , it's really helpful
Thank You!
May God bless you Deepak!
Thank you 🙏🏻
Hello Deepak, is there a way to copy files that are more than 100 MB using Power Automate ?
Limit is 100mb , my suggestion to use logic apps or function app, if you are planning to move large files
Hi thanks for the video, what type of permissions do I need for both tenants.
Thanks
You should have contribute access to both library minimum.
Thanks for video. Can you show how to copy one file to multiple folders on Sharepoint?
Thank you for watching. I will plan this in future videos.
Love your videos, do you have one for OneDrive to OneDrive?
Thank you 🙏🏻. You can use similar approach for one drive .
question, if I need to connect mi PA flow with another Sharepoint(im not the creator of the new shapoint, but the creator shared whit me the sharepoint)
You should have access to new SharePoint site to do this .
Hi, i have to copy 3 document libraries from external tenant to ours. They are over 1TB in size and over 62k files. Will this work or what is the best way to achieve it?
It will work but I will not recommend if you don't have a per flow or per user license. With this size of data, you should use a migration tool
@@DeepakShrivastava Migration Tool you mean Sharepoint Migration tool ? does it support Copy files betn Sharepoint Onlne Sites in different Tenants ?
I want to Copy files from around 10 Sharepoint Online Sites which again intern has 10 Folders in each site to a new Tenant Sharepoint Sites, which is the best suited method you would suggest for Copy files ? total files count 10L
@@jayatirthajoshiI have the same scenario. Did you find a way to achieve this? Can you share it?
Can you share please
nice
Thank You!
Thanks, it worked for me, but it copies all the files without a folder structure. Can you please tell me a workaround?
For folders you may need to use SharePoint rest apis. I may create another videos for folders. Add your suggestions in community tab 😃
@@DeepakShrivastava waiting for the video
is this method also work for folders and sub folder in side a libraray or it worked for files only
For folders you may need to use SharePoint rest apis. I may create another videos for folders. Add your suggestions in community tab 😃
@@DeepakShrivastava - Thanks for this video, I was also looking for folders and sub folders migration from one tenant to another
When I get to the get file content it doesnt give me the correct file identifier and it doesnt allow me to add the value plus the get file content
Get file content will give you the file content. You should use get file properties to get identifier . Like I showed in video .
how about Folder Transfers ?
You can do that also using SharePoint REST api
