Super informative Deepak! Would love to know how to do the reverse, when planner task is marked completed, list on share point is updated to completed which in turn will email the requester the status based on the alert rules.
Thank you for Mr. Deepak, the only issue I have is when ever the flow is triggered then it duplicates all the tasks in SharePoint list again into planner.
Wow thank you Mr. Deepak for sharing informative tutorial. I hope if time allows, you can create a tutorial video that once the task is completed, it will automatically response to the requestor's email. Looking forward to see 😍 thank you in advance.
Thank You!
Mr Deepak its nice video after reviewing lot of contents on power automate your are videos are easy to understand.
I have small requests can you prefer any specific books on power automate to learn more like using planner task summary sharing through mail by filtering the assigned by and assigned to.
Thanks you for sharing knowledge ❤
Thanks for the useful content. A direct connection to the planner can be provided from within the power apps. Can you do a content study by accessing live data only through power apps without using Power automate and SharePoint? I connected to the action plans of different teams for my own company and combined a collection. It works just fine. The reason why I want this content is that you can prepare more professional content to see our shortcomings and unfortunately there is no such content.
Hi Deepak - thank you for the information! I have a similar use case - except I need to send the List Item to a Planner Task, based upon a choice made in the List. The Item could be sent to Planner A, Planner B, or Planner C. But could also be sent to any combination (ex: Planner A and C; Planner A and B; Planner B and C; or Planner A/B/and C). There are a total of 27 individual Planners - each within an individual channel under a single team in Teams. Have you incurred a similar use case? Do you have any recommendations? Thank you!
Hi, Deepak, I am new to Microsoft Power Automate, and this flow is exactly what I am trying to create for our team. I am following along and trying to make this work, but I think there have been updates in Power Automate because things are appearing differently. Any help you can provide would be really appreciated. Thanks!
awesome info , thanks for sharing ¡¡ nevertheless I failed trying to replicate your advice , I'll try again later ...( didnt follow the dynamic content)
How do you make it show the thumbnail preview for an image? I see you have placeholder images which looks horrible. This seems to be a Microsoft bug, and they aren't interested in fixing since they have a premium product that competes with Planner.
No I have not use a image .
at around 10:50 where did you get the expression for the bucket ID? I tried just typing in what you wrote and my flow test failed in create a task after filter array.
The error message shows "
InvalidTemplate
Unable to process template language expressions in action 'Create_a_task' inputs at line '0' and column '0': 'The template language expression 'first(body('Filter_array'))['id']' cannot be evaluated because property 'id' cannot be selected."
Thanks for any help!
I got the same error at 6:45
Also is there a way to do this from a document library instead of from a list? I still haven't been able to run the flow shown here though.
