I got very sentimental watching this video because my son turns 18 this year and I wish more than anything I could shrink him back down from a man to a baby again and just hold him forever. But he is turning in to a great man now and I am sure baby Evan will be too one day. Especially with great role models like you and Evan 💚
I completely feel you! My only child he just turned 18 at the end of February. I'm proud of the man he's becoming but I miss my baby! 😢❤ When people say cherish every moment cause they grow up fast it's ABSOLUTELY TRUE! THEY GROW UP WAY FASTER THAN I EVER IMAGINED!!!
That must be awesome to have a handy hubby my ex husband couldn't hang a shelf properly once it had a bunch of coats on it, down it went out of the wall onto the floor, he relyed on his handy friends to do home improvements but over time he learned but always laughed at his lack of handy skills , he is a Preacher so we prayed for the next project to stay in place, he had that going for him at least.i was the painter and made curtains and hung them up and I did a stencil feature above the trim in the hallway and all the way up to the upstairs hallway I am in love with primitive rustic country farmhouse decor and furniture
❤️❤️❤️ Just an FYI screw the dresser to the wall tack it down somehow because children will always find a way to pull the drawer out and climb on it and fall over and have a dresser on top of them do it quickly I did that for my child but she still claimed but it saves you from a trip to the ER
2 kids died near me in aliquippa pa a few yr ago because of the dresser falling on them, and the dad heard the noise but was too busy playing video games, when he went to check 20 min later they were dead
Oh my gosh can I just say I am so proud of them! In a world where buying a bigger house is normalized they did an addition to their home and made their current situation much better with a little hard work! You go guys!!!! Kayla and Evan did great showing this process for anyone who is considering adding to their mob. home!
Everything turned out great. It’s so great to have a husband who can literally do anything. I am so thankful I married a man like that, and I love not always having to pay contractors to do any builds we want.
This is what we did 20 years ago we lived in a single mobile home and we were pregnant with a child and my husband added a whole new side to our home all by himself.. So happy for your family ❤

Not to be a downer but for insurance and also other guidelines have your hubby build a little closet as that is what is what is legally required to have a room be called a bedroom. It doesn't have to be large, it just has to be there. I love all you all did and the room is adorable.

My oldest is now 27 & my baby boy is 19 😢Enjoy every minute becuz times really does fly. What I miss most about my boys is when they had chipmunk voices! Whenever I hear a little boy talking it melts my heart ❤
