      Sorry for reply in English, but sadly I am not fluent in German. I am glad that you have found my videos usefull, easy to understand and very detailed. This is exactly the goal for my videos, so that anyone with basic knowledge on how to use the tools, is able to do all this maintenance and keep these little boxes on the road instead of getting them crushed. Also thank you for your comment. Comments like this give additional will to do more videos ;). And thank you for the donation. Enjoy your A2, I really enjoy mine :).

    Thanks for the very detailed video. I ended up removing the smaller EGR flange by disconnecting the hose at the valve all the way at the left of the engine and just left the hose on the flange.

Geweldig.😊

    Perfect explanation. Thank you very much. I did try to remove the plastic at the back by removing the three screws (Torx 20 btw) but I failed to get it off. It is even more complicated than squeezing the tyre repair kit holder out and back in.

    Very useful, thank you so much for posting this. I have just bought a used 1.4 petrol 2000 model and without your videos I will be little bit lost and have to pay for expensive garage bills

    Thanks, really useful. I did mine over the weekend using this as the guide. Turns out mine was “bodged” with a re used gasket and silicone which probably explains the “lean” error code the car kept throwing. That should fix it.

      That are the “joys” of used cars :(, when mechanics want to save few EUR. I am glad it helped and hopefully it will solve the error.

    Can you make a video showing all the grounding points in the Audi A2?

    If you're doing this in the UK you will need to remove the air intake box, it's impossible otherwise.

    When I did mine I also dropped the small gasket down the back of the engine, I did find it back also after removing the engine bottom cover.

      Let us hope that our experience will help somebody else not to lose it. It is best to learn on mistakes from other people although this mistake was just time consuming ;)...

    was this cleaning before or after the replacement of the oil separator? i did this cleaning maybe a year ago because of a trouble cod for EGR valve. since then I found out that maybe I need to replace the oil separator. The car has 225000 km, and probably the oil separator is the original one. I m concern that I will have to reclean the throttle body once again because of the oil separator not doing his job properly. Thanks!

    Did you ever had EPC light on dash?
    Will this cleaning help me to get that fault off?

    • @MtlCarGarage
      @MtlCarGarage  Рік тому

      No, no EPC light. Check with diagnostics where the problem is.

    Can I do the throttle body adaptation with VCDS lite ?

      Sadly I do not know this, because I use full version of VCDS.
