I wanna check out a ride like this They always look and seem fun. But at the moment I don’t have a ride appropriate bike for it haha. Only thing I have that might work is my Diamondback sorrento but barely just My only pick as a maybe since it’s A mountain bike. Just got 2 free road bikes over the weekend but they’re both vintage and don’t know if what the larger clearance would be compared with the wheels that came with so they don’t seem been helpful lol. Since I usually just ride fixed/single speed bikes these days until the last few months. Did forget until Now I did score a trek multi track think the 700 or 7000 forget it’s pretty big actually a better size than the sorrento for me since I’m like 6’3”. But I have to do an overhaul on it since it was free I wanted to save it from the dump and turn it into a hybrid once I have the money to invest in the various parts it needs. So I probably could use that now that I have remembered I have it haha. Mostly since it’s fairly big and the wheels are fairly large also think 700 x 35 or 40c. Was thinking it would be closer to the sorrento size when I had gotten it and was like oh whoa even better that the frame and wheels are bigger since that’s a plus. So maybe I can get it going and find a ride that’s a little my pace. I probably wouldn’t fair too barely on this ride since I tend to ride daily between 20-75 miles in a single ride. But only certain routes are as hilly or similar. So I would probably have to do a little training to feel better about Doing it ya know.. But since I do live in the Bay Area. We are no strangers to the hills haha. Can be annoying when I’m not on a geared bike depending on the hill and my bikes gear ratio ha.
