    Nice robo-cam! It's very satisfying to build something from scratch and have it work better than expected. Good luck with it sir!

      Thank you. All credit has to go to Kenny from Eagle Eye Shooting . It is a almost stupidly easy build though.

      Thanks for watching. It is super easy to put together yourself, but I believe Eagle Eye Shooting is working on putting some together for sale.

      You can also hook the receiver to a laptop.

    Sweet I definitely want one way cheaper than long range spotting scope !!!

      Definitely, I have only tested mine out to about 600 yards. I think Eagle eye has gone out to 2 miles.

      You can also contact Kenny at Eagle Eye Shooting if you are interested in getting a premade camera.

    Thats quite a wide angle lens. How close must the camera be from the target in order to reliably see holes in the target?

    • @JohnFazer
      @JohnFazer  Рік тому

      This one has to be pretty close. I know the one sold by the creator has a much better camera

    I’m getting ready to build this. I love the idea! Quick question...do you have to have cell device or WiFi to run this?? I’m not very tech savvy. Thanks in advance. Great video

      No cellular or wifi needed. I know the person who designed this camera system is getting ready to release an updated prebuilt version soon at www.dpgunworks.com/shop. Thanks for watching. If you want to know more about this camera check out Eagle Eye Shooting channel, he has a much more in depth video.

    Can you see the bullet holes in your target? Any pictures of it actually in use?
    I had mine less than 2 feet from the target at 100 yds. Sure I could see the target but, I couldn't see the holes. The wide angle view just makes everything too small.

    • @JohnFazer
      @JohnFazer  2 роки тому

      I could see the bullet holes, but they were very small, even on an Ipad screen.

    Congratulations on the video. I tell you, I am exactly doing a project to avoid using a target vision or caldwell camera target (no money). Do you think it would be better to use a 1200 TVL camera? Do I need to have OSD? What was the distance of your video? Thank you for your answers.

    • @JohnFazer
      @JohnFazer  3 роки тому +1

      I do not have any experience with a 1200 TVL camera, but the camera I used had a built in transmitter. I used a basic FPV viewer to watch the video feed. I had mine out at about 200 yards, but the person who designed this set up(Eagle Eye Shooting) has used it out to at least 1 mile. The only down side to this whole camera set up is technically you need a HAM license because of the power and frequency that it transmits on.

      Anyway, it looks great. I will do it but with a 1200 TVL camera. I would like to see clearly. I have an amateur radio license. I don't know if it will be enough. Greetings and blessings friend.

    have you tested out the range? How far can it go?

    • @JohnFazer
      @JohnFazer  4 роки тому

      I have had it out to 600yards. I believe Eagle Eye Shooting had had the same set up out to 2 miles.
