yeah that was my thought too, though this specific product seems pretty cheap and bad (there’s no way that flimsy tube thing is easy to clean 😬). an actual well made version would be great for a lot of people though!
The turtle shell was absolutely a bit of a scam - the video makes it look like a huge bed that you can wear, kinda like a bean bag, but on Jarvis it was just a costume. Glad he liked it though, even if I was lowkey hoping it was legit so I could get one myself.
I was seriously so disappointed there wasn’t actually a giant turtle shell. I was READY to go buy one for myself. There’s tons of listings on Amazon for them, but none of them have reviews so idk if they’d actually be big 🥲
The drink tap thing could've been useful for people who can't lift heavy milk jugs and such, but if the batteries don't go in/out easily then there's no point
I was thinking it's more for families with kids who may be clumsy with a big jug pouring themself juice or milk, but able to handle a small cup better. The person in the video had her drinks in the bottom shelf, meaning they're at perfect height for super short children. Good if you have an open fridge policy with healthy snacks at the bottom (carrots, juice) to foster early independence and responsibility in your kids. Also comes out at a slow enough speed for a child it appears, and children wouldn't be the ones putting in the batteries or inserting the device to the jug.
that’s what i was thinking, only way it could actually be useful is if it was used by some disabled people, children, or elders - people who can’t hold heavy bottles, or have shaky hands and can’t pour a drink by themselves
If it’s a product from China, then it’s probably for large water jugs (think of the ones that go into office coolers). You aren’t supposed to drink tap water so many people buy the big jugs. They are super heavy and not easy to lift, so things like that are very useful. Especially if you aren’t worried about having the water cooling or heating mechanism.
@@dadjokeness literally I was thinking the exact same thing but with elderly or disabled ppl instead of kids, and their caretaker comes by every now and then to refill it for them and/or change the batteries. It’s a niche product but definitely useful in certain circumstances.

Maybe! I'm interested in how practical cleaning it actual would be though. It it requires a lot of extra detailed cleaning work & getting small brushes in small spaces that adds new challenges.

I think the circular ice went wrong because you filled the bottle while it was "closed". In the video they fill it while it was open and then they push the sides. I believe that pushes out the water so it stays only on the balls. But you probably figured that out later.
I was hoping someone else noticed this. That product actually seems pretty cool. Don't know if I'd pay $30 for it but maybe if I come across one at ross or something for like half price 🤷♀️
no he did it right, its just not an ice tray liek its advertised, its meant to be a water bottle ice tray hybrid. you fill it with water when closed, freeze it, then open it and fill it with whatever drink you want and then you have ice cold drink...
I can see the drink dispenser being useful for people with issues picking up jugs or heavy containers! I have chronic fatigue and on really bad days I've had to ask someone to pour my drinks for me because I didn't have the strength to be able to hold the container for long enough to fill a glass.
True but this could also become a hazard as it's very hard to clean the tube and nozzle, and you can't have old milk sitting inside those small spaces and mixing into your new milk. Plust I feel like it would clog, milk doesn't stay liquid for very long when exposed to air, once there's milk in the tip of that nozzle it will dry and form a crust, which will be expelled into your food next time.
I think those containers with bottom nozzles that don't require batteries and are easier to clean would be more practical. They're usually used in parties to dispense drinks, but there's smaller and lighter versions for every day use too
So the girl turtle was tiny? Nah that was BS. What he got wasn’t the same thing at all. Hers was a thing she could crawl inside. His was a Halloween costume part.
There actually is a real one idk if he didn’t get the right size bc it was expensive or if he just didn’t know but it’s like 100-150 for the giant one you can climb in
Did you know that you can put food in an ice cube tray to make the food the shape of the ice cube tray? Okay cool. But did you know that you can put food in an ice cube tray to make the food the shape of the ice cube tray?
the comedy of watching jarvis in the past learn about something and its use before buying it cutting to jarvis in the present being utterly confused about wtf he bought cannot be overstated
That liquid dispenser could actually be really handy for disabled people. A lot of "goofy" devices were originally created with the disabled or elderly in mind and marketed to a wider audience to make more money. It's why disability aides are so expensive, because they only have a relatively small population to sell to and I'm all for making it less expensive and more accessible. I'm actually going to tell some friends about this item because they basically have to wait for someone to come home or come over if they want to use a gallon of milk.
I stumbled back to this channel for the first time in quite a while and it's cool to see how far you've come. I remember you as a computer scientist, but you've become a full-blown UA-camr. Good stuff Jarvis.
Some people may say these videos are wastful. But I bet a lot fewer people buy terrible products because of these videos and less waste happens overall. Plus they're entertaining as frack.
Yeah, like Drew Gooden has probably destroyed the sales of the sad little scam that is moonpod. He lost money, but he saved other people from doing the same
I mean, except that almost none of this stuff is made to order so if nobody buys them then the items still exist, they just get tossed into one landfill together instead of different ones across the world.
Im sure someone else has commented this but the tiny ice cube tray from alliexpress would actually be great for someone with a mini fridge cuz the freezers on those are impossibly small
Plus the ice cubes it made looked pretty normal sized when he held one up. I wouldn't call them tiny. Just the tray only made 6 instead of the normal 12.
P.s. The liquid tap works great on BOTTLES or CONTAINERS. you have to have the tap tightened on the pourer on the bottle to create suction. They work great for juice and big water bottles but they are very touchy and a lot of times you accidently hit it and your liquid pours out onto the floor.
And for people wondering how to clean it ....just use it to pour out soapy water(or your preferred cleaning solution) and then use it to pour out clean water then clean water.
I figured it worked better than this, or atleast that better versions do exist online for sale. The design itself doesn't really seem like super new technology; it reminds me of a carafe of coffee or juice that would be at a hotel's continental breakfast (like the kind you just push down on the top and the beverage is dispensed). But that still leaves me wondering why it would require two batteries...? Any idea?
@@Throatzillaaa the batteries likely power the motor used to suction it up/out of the container. If it were something you pumped down on it probably wouldn't need batteries but that definitely would lessen the accessibility portion where it can be used by those who may not be able to lift to the big container.
The automatic tap thing is probably one of those things that is marketed normally so it's seen more but is intended for people with disabilities that prevent them from lifting jugs or conditions that make it difficult to pour. Think things like tremors, cerebral palsy, chronic pain conditions, etc.
That “massage brush” is definitely just a silicone loofah! Seems like it would be good for people with mobility issues or anyone who just can’t reach their back lol
Yeah it just looks like a larger version of my silicone sponge but with suction cups on one side haha. I feel like it would feel nice to scrub your back on it the shower but it's definitely not a "massager"
The drink dispenser and the massager both look more like things that could be used for people with some level of disabilities or pains that make certain everyday tasks hard. That's the sad part, tiktok and such tend to remarket items meant for those who can't do certain things into things for people who won't do certain things ( aka lazy people) making it seem like it was made for people to be lazy. Something to always think about if it makes a relatively easy task too easy it's meant to be for someone who finds easy tasks impossible for health reasons.
I saw the small ice tray and immediately thought ‘that would be so great for my ridiculously small freezer!’ and then Jarvis proceeded to dunk on it for the next several minutes
I bought an ice tray about that size for my dorm, since my mini fridge came with a very small freezer section that could only hold one tiny ice tray. The difference is that mine were hexagonal and this maximized the area used, so while the ice cubes were tiny, I could make like twice as many ice cubes at once (which is PLENTY for one person and a roommate).
That dispenser would be awesome for some disabled or elderly persons or children if it could actually fit onto the container the drink comes in itself.
9:43 - People who lack hand strength could use it. Many cancer treatments cause loss of muscle and sometimes an inability to rebuild it. My dad can't even lift a gallon jug now. Added to cart!
Woo hooo, my favourite genre of youtubers buying crap to write off as a business expense. It's great since we can live the experience through you guys.🤭🤭
i think the scrubber/massager mat is also for people with mobility issues (like if you can’t safely bend over/balance to wash your feet or can’t reach your back). i’m sure my mom bought something similar for one of my grandparents years ago. basically just trying to reach a wider audience with how it’s marketed
yes, and i think it is also a cultural thing because in korea, where i live people don't wear shoes indoors so it is very common to wash your hands and feet when you get home!
the scrub shower thing could be good for people who have trouble moving to clean their back or feet!! not sure about the quality of the actual rubber but the idea is neat
The milk dispenser thing might seem silly, but I could see it as being really helpful if you were arthritic, and struggled to lift heavy jugs, etc. Seems silly... unless pouring from jugs is itself a daily challenge you struggle with due to age or disability lol 🙄😅
7:27 "you have to put AA batteries in it... thats a little unnecessary" uhhhh very necessary. swinging your bowl back and forth for a spritz of milk each time would be... catastrophic to say the least
it's mostly annoying bc just go back and watch the tiktoks lol like you prerecorded a video watching them and ordering them, go take a quick look at that footage or save the tiktoks somewhere
PSA: a proper cleaning brush is vital if you use reusable straws, otherwise you’re constantly running the risk of nasty stuff building up on the inside of the straw. that is unless you’re using that silicone kind that split down the side so that you can open them up and scrub them inside and out. even if you’re running them through the dishwasher, it’s unlikely that they are getting completely cleaned that way. I find it’s least tedious to do multiple straws at once, just grab them by the fistful and go to town with the little scrubby straw brush and some dish soap.
Watching Jarvis confused as to why someone would want a regular ice tray when fridges make ice was so funny… most people don’t have fridges that make ice 😂 💀
I think they would’ve came out all spherical if you had filled the bottle while it was expanded, then compressed it while full, then closed it and put it in the freezer
I think that’s what he did? He opened it up, filled it, and after freezing he pulled it open again. They probably just cut the part where he compressed it before freezing
the thing you got despite not ordering it was probably part of a brushing scam, where they send something small and cheap that you didn't buy so they can post a fake review for something using your name and information.
@@genericspectator3094 A lot of sites have a special mark when it can verify a person purchased the item they're reviewing - that's probably what they're going for, because it makes the reviews seem more legitimate.
That drink dispenser would honestly be really helpful for people who have disabilities related to gripping or hand dexterity. I feel like I've seen commercials for something similar just without the need for batteries.

I think the circular ice went wrong because you filled the bottle while it was "closed". In the video they fill it while it was open and then they push the sides.
I believe that pushes out the water so it stays only on the balls.
But you probably figured that out later.
I cant even put into words how upset I got when he did it wrong. 😂
I was hoping someone else noticed this. That product actually seems pretty cool. Don't know if I'd pay $30 for it but maybe if I come across one at ross or something for like half price 🤷♀️
In this video, Jarvis makes a bunch of avoidable mistakes
But it did fill up tho
no he did it right, its just not an ice tray liek its advertised, its meant to be a water bottle ice tray hybrid. you fill it with water when closed, freeze it, then open it and fill it with whatever drink you want and then you have ice cold drink...
Plust I feel like it would clog, milk doesn't stay liquid for very long when exposed to air, once there's milk in the tip of that nozzle it will dry and form a crust, which will be expelled into your food next time.
i would say that makes sense but it really doesn't because you'd have to press the top for a certain amount of time to dispense any liquid at all.
I think those containers with bottom nozzles that don't require batteries and are easier to clean would be more practical. They're usually used in parties to dispense drinks, but there's smaller and lighter versions for every day use too
@@DS-xg7hk yes, absolutely!
@@DS-xg7hk Oh for sure, that's what I use! I don't think the actual product in the video looks practical at all lol but I can see a use for it
Seeing Jarvis sit on his counter with such ease is really putting his height into perspective for me
Hes almost the size of his fridge
I don't know why I always thought he was a little tiny guy.
how tall is he ?
@@kazuhaluvscara I’m pretty sure he mentioned being over 6ft in a video with Jordan
@@aj7058 he’s 6’1”
So the girl turtle was tiny?
Nah that was BS. What he got wasn’t the same thing at all. Hers was a thing she could crawl inside.
His was a Halloween costume part.
There actually is a real one idk if he didn’t get the right size bc it was expensive or if he just didn’t know but it’s like 100-150 for the giant one you can climb in
The one he got is actually nice. I've used it before.
I love hearing Jarvis' crew laughing in the background. He's a really funny guy, and they obviously have a blast when filming for him
The tiny ice tray isn’t entirely useless! You can use it to make your own bouillon cubes for soup.
You could probably also pour scented wax into it and create your own little wax melts
Yes, or for freezing herbs or garlic paste for cooking maybe
That’s so smart!
Did you know that you can put food in an ice cube tray to make the food the shape of the ice cube tray? Okay cool. But did you know that you can put food in an ice cube tray to make the food the shape of the ice cube tray?
haha nice jay exci reference
the comedy of watching jarvis in the past learn about something and its use before buying it cutting to jarvis in the present being utterly confused about wtf he bought cannot be overstated
Dude his laugh at 10:20 sounds like a kaiju roar I love it
the guy who plays jarvis is a great actor, i cant believe jarvis isnt a real person
i’m amazed by the prosthetics and cgi

Some people may say these videos are wastful. But I bet a lot fewer people buy terrible products because of these videos and less waste happens overall. Plus they're entertaining as frack.
Imagine how many things Hollywood gets shipped. I doubt UA-camrs are the biggest threat
Completely agree, these types of vids have saved me buying a lot of things that looked good in the ads
Yeah, like Drew Gooden has probably destroyed the sales of the sad little scam that is moonpod. He lost money, but he saved other people from doing the same
It's a public service, honestly
I mean, except that almost none of this stuff is made to order so if nobody buys them then the items still exist, they just get tossed into one landfill together instead of different ones across the world.
I cant get over Jarvis just pouring it straight onto the counter at 8:58
His genuine delight at becoming a turtle is so wholesome.
Idk if this is all mini fridges but the 2 I bought both came with a tiny ice tray like that. It’s cute but cheaply made
I use a mini fridge and that ice tray just would piss me off lol
Jarvis bought 6 cantaloupes... For all of us who've ever done a math word problem, I'd like to ask: why?
1 Guy 6 Melons will be the next viral sensation I tell you!!
P.s. The liquid tap works great on BOTTLES or CONTAINERS. you have to have the tap tightened on the pourer on the bottle to create suction. They work great for juice and big water bottles but they are very touchy and a lot of times you accidently hit it and your liquid pours out onto the floor.
And for people wondering how to clean it ....just use it to pour out soapy water(or your preferred cleaning solution) and then use it to pour out clean water then clean water.
yeah Jarvis was too busy trying to mock it he didn’t even bother trying to use it correctly
It's also great for people with disabilities that limit arm movement and/or hand eye coordination
6:11 "we've all got nooks and crannies to clean" omg the zoom cracked me up LOL
It's mostly used to wash feet. For many people it's not possible to lift up their feet in the shower to wash them and this helps. Also feels nice. 😁
I use silicone loofahs and sponges bc I’m a bit of a germaphobe and I heard bacteria doesn’t gather/grow on silicone!
Yup..it looked more of for exfoliating rather than massaging
The joy that Jarvis felt after unintentionally becoming a ninja turtle just made my entire day. Cowabunga, Jarvurtle Botticelli! 😁
cowabunga? are u stuck in 2012?
Hot Soup!
I think my favorite thing about this video is that jarvis implies that pouring had to be invented and isn't just like physics
that’s what i was thinking when he said “we’ve already invented pouring” 😂 like who invented it exactly and what were they doing before that? 😂😂
I like how he absolutely adores the turtle shell although little it’s like 10 times smaller than the video said it was 😭
I saw the small ice tray and immediately thought ‘that would be so great for my ridiculously small freezer!’ and then Jarvis proceeded to dunk on it for the next several minutes
The ice tray is for a mini fridge, like in college, where the "freezer" is just a door in the main part but that is way shorter than a normal ice tray
The way this video is shot like a mockumentary is really messing with my brain 💀
Jarvis being absolutely enamored by the ice ball maker is my new favorite thing.
Deeply relatable. I'm always skeptical until I see the thing I must have.
The way he walked at 4:40 is such a vibe and I’m here for it
I bought an ice tray about that size for my dorm, since my mini fridge came with a very small freezer section that could only hold one tiny ice tray. The difference is that mine were hexagonal and this maximized the area used, so while the ice cubes were tiny, I could make like twice as many ice cubes at once (which is PLENTY for one person and a roommate).
him spinning on the counter going "yoooo whats good turtle squad" is too funny
where will we (and our money) be without youtubers like you to satisfy our curiosity for us
Dipper is one of the most well behaved dogs I've personally ever seen, you've done such a good job raising him! ❤
is he named after the gravity falls character?
@@linneascameraroll I think so! He made a tweet about him when he first brought him home using Dipper from gravity falls so it's likely!
15:00 stop because I use those ice trays (they came in a pack of 3) and i love them. they're convenient and just enough for one drink.
Jarvis's hair looks hella good. 10/10
Ahh yes, when I can’t pour, so I walk open to the fridge with my cereal and open the door to get my milk
@@L14M44they can still open things, just gallons of milk may be too heavy????
Woo hooo, my favourite genre of youtubers buying crap to write off as a business expense. It's great since we can live the experience through you guys.🤭🤭
The tiny ice tray situation made me laugh so hard. Honestly though it could be good for single people with not a lot of freezer space? hahaha
20:40 I literally had two ads in this video about vacuuming packages with fluffy pillows AND THAT'S NOT A COINCIDENCE
i think the scrubber/massager mat is also for people with mobility issues (like if you can’t safely bend over/balance to wash your feet or can’t reach your back). i’m sure my mom bought something similar for one of my grandparents years ago. basically just trying to reach a wider audience with how it’s marketed
yes, and i think it is also a cultural thing because in korea, where i live people don't wear shoes indoors so it is very common to wash your hands and feet when you get home!
still convinced people who say they put milk in before cereal only say it for attention aint no way anyone thinks that's the natural order of things
it litteraly is im always in disbelief that people put cereal first.
@@QuantumBoogaloo that's horrific, your roommate deserves jail time
But it get too soggy
@@shirin9452 the order in which you put it doesn't change that. it only gets soggy after the milk is mixed with the cereal
I do it sometimes because I want to know exactly how much milk is in there and perfect the cereal/milk ratio of my liking 🤷♂️
the scrub shower thing could be good for people who have trouble moving to clean their back or feet!! not sure about the quality of the actual rubber but the idea is neat
9:35 That device would be great for someone with kids,a daycare, or someone with parkinsons diesease
The milk dispenser thing might seem silly, but I could see it as being really helpful if you were arthritic, and struggled to lift heavy jugs, etc. Seems silly... unless pouring from jugs is itself a daily challenge you struggle with due to age or disability lol 🙄😅
Definitely. I can’t lift jugs so it seemed good to me
haven't even finished the video yet but the amount of pikachus in jarvis' new place brings me so much joy

WHY IS NO ONE TALKING ABOUT HOW PRETTY JARVIS' HOUSE IS???? like I can't get over it idk why
7:27 "you have to put AA batteries in it... thats a little unnecessary" uhhhh very necessary. swinging your bowl back and forth for a spritz of milk each time would be... catastrophic to say the least
10:25 I absolutely hate that when Jarvis said “because it doesn’t fit, I know what you’re thinking,” my first thought was “we must acquit”
Not me getting mad at Jarvis for not using things properly 😂. Also, the associations his mind makes are so out there 😂
Most of these sort of videos I see seem to have the person using all the objects wrong resulting in me being infuriated.
it's mostly annoying bc just go back and watch the tiktoks lol like you prerecorded a video watching them and ordering them, go take a quick look at that footage or save the tiktoks somewhere
As someone without an ice maker and only a small freezer, that tiny ice tray looks awesome
It’s been a rough Friday. Thank you for upload Jarvis! Have a great weekend everyone!

This is the greatest laugh I have ever heard from Jarvis.
23:30 Jarvis finding out the screw cap is not a pull of cap.
7:33 the calling something magic when it's actually just electric is giving eccentric victorian inventor and i'm here for it
Jarvis as turtle pillow boy has me crying. Comedy genius!
The joy on Jarvis’ face was well worth the 52 dollars he spent on it
PSA: a proper cleaning brush is vital if you use reusable straws, otherwise you’re constantly running the risk of nasty stuff building up on the inside of the straw. that is unless you’re using that silicone kind that split down the side so that you can open them up and scrub them inside and out. even if you’re running them through the dishwasher, it’s unlikely that they are getting completely cleaned that way.
But thats not a normal ice tray. Its tiny
It's not a regular ice tray though it's a tiny ice tray that isn't what he ordered

I think they would’ve came out all spherical if you had filled the bottle while it was expanded, then compressed it while full, then closed it and put it in the freezer
Hope he sees your comment as I was thinking the same thing.
Yeah, that’s even demonstrated in the clip he showed
I think that’s what he did? He opened it up, filled it, and after freezing he pulled it open again. They probably just cut the part where he compressed it before freezing
He did also run hot water over it
Was thinking the exact same thing, bopefully he sees it :)
the thing you got despite not ordering it was probably part of a brushing scam, where they send something small and cheap that you didn't buy so they can post a fake review for something using your name and information.
WHAT? That’s a thing?
i dont see why you need to send the stuff, can’t you just make some names up
@@genericspectator3094 A lot of sites have a special mark when it can verify a person purchased the item they're reviewing - that's probably what they're going for, because it makes the reviews seem more legitimate.
