Great stuff as always! I noticed at ~3:42 (and other spots) that you manually copy and paste values. Did you know you can copy and paste any parameter with SHIFT+RMB and SHIFT+LMB (respectively)? Super handy for copying things like vectors or references!
I am quite curious as to how to expand this to have a holster animation specific to each weapon. I've been trying to hack this together on my end by using the Set Weapon Visibility function set to notify states but I'm really not sure if I'm doing it right.
My suggestion is to create an Animation Montage variable on your Master Weapon Blueprint. From there you can set the individual weapons (Pistol/Rifle/Shotgun) to your specific animation that you want to use. Then when you call the Equip/Unequip Montage to be played, you bring in the variable from your weapons blueprint and plug it into your Play Montage node.
Basically you have to create your own running anims (character anims), no need to create weapon anims for this, as weapon anims are mostly for shooting purposes only (eg when shooting, the weapon animates such as the components on the weapon)
Hello I have a freezing issue with my unreal engine 5.2 and 5.4 I have amd 7600x and 6700xt graphic when I click on edit or windows etc or open something like variables settings between float into etc unreal engine freezes and I can close it only from task manager then I have to restart my pc to open again unreal anyone now something about this issue?

Would you consider doing an attachment system? More specifically different sights and the camera aim will adjust and align accordingly for the sight

What if it is an item that you don't want to Holster? Say a brick for example. Is there a way to just hide it without setting a holster socket?

i have a problem when i switch back to unarmed my last weapon i was using stays in my hand
I believe if you call the function Set Weapon Holstered right after you press the key that controls going to Unarmed, that should do the trick.
