Of all time, do you have a favourite book solely based on the literary devices and language used? I'm looking to improve my writing/vocab diversity by reading! One of my favourites that I just finished reading was River by Esther Kinsky because of the descriptions, you should take a look at it if you have some spare time!
Thank you so much for the recommendation! I will for sure check it out. I'm currently reading A Swim In a Pond In the Rain by George Saunders, and he has a lot of great advice for readers and writers. I would check that out. I'm also currently reading Fahrenheit 451 again with my students, and I am always captivated by Bradbury's language and his use of devices throughout. It can be distracting at times, but my students are really enjoying it. I always go back to John Williams, especially Butcher's Crossing, when I want to see some great prose.
Thank you for sharing! Will for sure check my local library for these
