ORIGINAL INFO: The thrilling conclusion to the story that nobody cared about!
RUMINATIONS: It’s fun to conclude a long-running series. I love to revisit stuff I’ve done before, but finishing up something like SCI-Spy means that I can move on to other stuff and not feel like, “Yeah, I COULD review something new, but if I DON’T do an episode on this subject at least once a year, someone will complain that I’m being lazy or ‘forgot’ to do it.” In reality, I just pick stuff out that I feel like doing (with the exception of Patreon-sponsored videos). There are a lot of comics out there that could be reviewed, but I only have so many hours of the day. Sadly, SCI-Spy has never been one of my more popular series I’ve done, but that just means that if I get it out of the way, I don’t have to ever worry about potentially taking a hit by reviewing it again.
So, they stole a closing joke from Red Dwarf? (Lister swallowing Rimmer's holographic projector.)
Well, this joke is far too easy to make.
Linkara: "never speak to me again."
Me: "I just said Pollo as a chick is kinda hot."
Linkara: "STOP IT!"
Ahhh... I love MKX.
I don't think Starchild's plan deserved the Patton clip - it sounds like something I would have thought of when I was about 9.
It's called being sarcastic.
Even through sarcasm, some things don't deserve Patton.
Patton has read your book.

*Linkara:* Also, *_THAT FACE!!!_* Why Paul Gulacy, *_WHY?!_*
Anybody else notice all the Cybermats STARING AT LINKARA for this entire story arc?
"...to some the journey is what matters most, and not so much the destination, but the journey sucked too." -SomecallmeJohnny, Johnny vs. Super Mario Sunshine
Isis: goddess of the Egyptian pantheon.
Nile: well-known river in Egypt.
Coincidence? I THINK NOT.
+Axioanarchist It's obvious! This was all a xanatos gambit of epic scale by the ultimate evil... *ANCIENT EGYPT!*
+Gratuitous Lurking Dun dun dun dun dundun dun dundun!
Sebastian: the name of one of our cats.
Starchild: Paul Stanley's KISS persona.
Co-incidence? Yeah, probably.
So. here's a thought that's dawned upon me: Sci-Spy was a comic created in DC's Vertigo imprint. And, as part of The New 52, both the Wildstorm and Vertigo imprints were folded into the main DC universe. So.... yeah, Sebastian Starchild and all the nonsense that comes with him is now in some form canon to the DC universe.
Am I the only one that realised that if a black hole appeared like that near the Arcturus system, mankind is basically doomed anyway?
I did dig some of the more monstrous human designs because I just kinda like that in comics in general. That's why I've followed One Piece for almost exactly thirteen years now and why I will always bemoan the fact Kongo Bancho never got an anime.
Kongo Bancho. The series where in the first episode the main characters beats up a bunch of Yakuza with a _car_.
Yes.
...w-what?
Altair718 If you do something, do it properly. < The motto of Kongo Bancho's main character.
+Altair718 That surprised you? Back in Getter Robo, the first time we see one of the main character, he crashed a Karate tournament, beating up everyone there (all of them being black belts by the by) and then kicks a school master in the face and destroys a trophy by one punch...and then he beat up 6 deadly assassins solo. And later in the series, he crushed a velociraptor's skull barehanded.
SMAXZO I have clearly been watching the wrong anime.
Altair718
Well...the 70's anime is a bit watered down..but if you want the closest to the Getter Robo manga..there's always New Getter Robo. And in that one, Ryoma solos an army of oni.
0:14 Yeah, Linkara! Get down and shake that funky thang! SHOW ME YOUR MOVES!
I have to give the series credit: it winds up being both ridiculous AND boring at the same time
If I wasn't certain SCI-Spy came first, I'd joke that Go Go Go Go was a Jojo reference, but...
"This is the end, beautiful friend...
This is the end, my only friend, the end..."
*Of SCI Spy.*

MST3K ROBOTS: YOU SHOVE OFF!!
Paul Gulacy was the illustrator of _Sci-Spy?_ That's explains a lot, actually. He's the guy who drawed Daredevil and Black Widow like if they were wearing bodypainting instead of clothing (still, he has been better at faces in other comics)
Another thing that never figured into the story: Sebastian's shiny UV-whatever contact lenses.
@7:26-7:30
Patton: You Magnificent B@$7@rD, I read your BOOK!!!!!!!!
I just realized the plot of this comic is suspiciously similar to Titan A.E.
Except Titam A.E is decently thought out (from what I remember) and animated by a legend, whereas this is Doug Moench's incompetence with some pretty...bad artwork.
Considering how bland, boring, and forgettable this series was, I have to wonder how much of it Lewis remembers after all this time. Heck, I barely remember it and will probably forget about it after I watch this video.
Sugar Cubes of Death in Space, now in your local cereal aisle.
I don't like how close we're getting to being up to date. what will I do without my daily dose?

Perform some Ninja Style Dancing?
Oh, Starchild... You are the most unhuman full human ever...
Pollo as a damsel feels weeeeeeird.
sweet this was originally made on my 18th birthday!! (9/1/2014 in the description)
At this point the original episodes were finally getting finished off it seems. Kamandi, Sci-Spy, Brute Force, etc.
For me... 7 outta 10 honestly.
iBomb brought to you by Apple Inc.
Trojan bod is one of the few nicknames that makes sense.
Sheriff J. W. Pepper would have been better than this? Dude, don't say things you can't take back!
hm the whole motherbank issue was a poor attempt for sounding more techy i assume since mainboards was also referes as motherboards , or to reference some other influencial computers, on top of my head i think of MU/TH/UR from the Nostromo , so here you go ^^
What did pollo think of that title card?
dakota doyle He might say that he now has arms.
I am surprised no one made go gadget go joke
I have to say, this series is actually one of my favorites of yours. The first episode was pretty weak (hey, it was still pretty decent for being so early in your run), but man, by these last few issues I think you had reached a pinnacle of witty, vitriolic sarcasm. I honestly find myself quoting so many of your quips and insults from the last couple of issues. Not many people my watch this series for whatever reason, but man, you should be proud of it. Your work is always good, but I think this series managed to motivate you in a way few others have lol
Also, I can't decide if the Pollo-Mayday from the title card should be called in Payday or Mayo, and that makes me slightly sad.
I was kinda waiting for him to hear the music from Miami Vice lol
That felt short
how many different series came to an end throughout the course of this show?
There are never ends if marvel dc or indie could reboot anything
JaAm.
I'm moving, bossy boots
Hmmmmm pokken
What is the clip 13:21 from?
The MST3K Episode: "The Incredibly Strange Creatures"
