So, suppose i was one of those idiots who.would slap a cheap aftermarket turbo on a NA engine. Should my Chinese piston rings then spec a smaller gaps, to account for the extra boost?
That's a yes or no question. Cause if you get tired of making even one crappy little video, answering idiot questions from ignoramuses living in random far away places must really drive you up a wall.
More like the opposite. More power is more heat so you have a larger calculated gap to compensate. You can often get away without changing the internals, but you're limited to like 10psi or less without issue and marginal fuelling. To make use of the 25psi eBay turbo cranked up fuel screw mongoloids you have to up spec the pistons which means crank balancing and other lovelies. But who does that? It lasted 5k so far, must be a goodun. What does this guy know? 😅
@@ridiculousthings4x4 👍🏼Thx. And you're right, eBay is the BEST place to find incredible deals on genuine Toyota parts! PRO TIP: these part might ship from Guangzhou China, but no need to worry, that's just because Japan is a small country with no room for big warehouses, so they just STORE and ship these parts from China😉
I firmly believe that with more content, this could be one of the most popular channels around.
tell that to the algorithm
The best lecture I had in years
Thanks alot man...I'm an engineering student, and content like this helps me alot...🍻🍻
Unfortunately they don't teach you this stuff at uni. enjoy the maths that you'll never need again thanks to computers!
A lot more of this style, and your on your way to 100,000 views!!!
Good stuff as always mate. Cheers Steve
Sociopath extraordinaire! Yes, I love this kind of content.
Comment for the algorithm
The best type of comment.
