DS18 has a line of amps called their Candy series, which are a rebrand of this and the other Jensen bluetooth/DSP amps. Of course they sell for more than double the price.
Dual also sells the 2 and 4 channel versions, but with actual knobs instead of being app controlled. I just bought the 4 channel, haven't had chance to try it yet but everyone seems to rave about them.
I was surprised and disappointed at the same time. I might have to get one of them other amps you mentioned and see how they do. Thanks for the info and comment.
I have this amp on kicker dcrw1222 prefab enclosure (1000 watts rms) only getting half the watts or less with this little amp and it POUNDS I first had it setup in my Kia Optima and now in my Chrysler 300c and I like it I have the main set to 10 and my gain set to 5 bass boost on

They updated the app for the 91rb u only get monoblock lpf gain bass boost and rgb for the lights u do ofcourse get ur lpf frequency setting but the app has been updated since this video
I must have had it earlier on. I had everything all the way up. That's not good for the amplifier to run full knobs all to the right. Thanks for the info. Maybe I'll grab another if I can find one cheap and give it another shot.

Do u remember is bass boost turned way up made ur clip light come on? Cause i never see jt flicker

I just got this amp hooked up to 3 12s at like .067 ohm or .80 something around there and the amp is hitting just at 1k 1050 rms or so the app is super basic for the 91rb mono block u dont get all ur settings on tbe app
If you have 3 Sub's wired to .66 ohm's. That's 3 2 ohm sub's wired in parallel with each other. They're probably running at 2 ohm's and up much higher depending on your rise and the box they're in. This is why I make these videos so everyone understands that wired to and running are two completely different things. In this video this sub is wired to 1 ohm, but as you can see it runs at 2 ohm's and up. So your probably getting about the power this Subwoofer was in this video. Thanks for your comment 😊
Yeah I'm resting at around . 8 ohm and testing different frequencys all the subs have similar fs so I'm doing test tones at around the fs the subs are in all separate boxes I'm seeing rise to 3 or 4 or 6 ohm amp runs cool too I'm drawing up to 88 to 90 amps I have 2 40 amp fuses in the amp Ive looked at the power supply mosfets and the output section if I had higher than a 12 amp power supply id get more power but I have a 80+ rated computer power supply it does 12 volts and around 80 amps

That app is wonky. You have to set the gain on the first tab goes from 0 to 18 I think but you were using the bass boost gain which is also called gain on that tab..don't use bass boost.. I set my gain to 13 and it definitely puts out more power than this without bass boost on with a frequency cutoff of 80hz, try it.
I could not get anything to work on the app at all. Just the bass boost, and the LED lights, nothing else would do anything. Is there something else needed to get the app working, I felt like there was something missing the whole time. I still have the amp, it would be great if I could get it working properly. Yeah I have this amp for my boat. For some reason you have to set the volume on the Home Screen and the gain on this screen. It’s odd but hits once you do that.
