The studio recorded version 30yrs ago is much much better. I'm still playing their songs up to now. Their kind of music are very rich in deep messages of love, patriotism, nature preservation and politics that pierce through the heart and soul. I treasure their music as much as i treasures the icons and legends of music like the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, the eagles, Queen, Eric Clapton,James Taylor,CCR, Neil Young and too many to write down all of them. I like musicians who sing their own songs and play instruments too. Im not a big fan of just plain singers, belters or balladeers though i appreciate their talents too.
Mike Pillora Jr. Lolita Carbon (she claim also as Jr.) Cesar Bañares Jr. (deceased) Pendong Aban Jr. (joined the band in early 80's). All of them are great vocalist, composer, songwriter and arranger.
It's not just the vocal and lyrics but the messages of the songs that comes to get emotional. They are legends in Philippines music Industry like Freddie Aguilar
