No matter how many times i rewatch this moment when Android 17 & 18 teaming up, i always wish producers or authors reviving Android 16 to fight together with them
Ange seems to be missing the point of the "power readings from the radar". The point was that they are not accurate. That's why power levels would suddenly rise or characters learned to hide it. Those things were useless then and are useless now.
When I had to watch this week to week in Japanese as they first came out these episodes made me so angry. It was like a full month of Ribrianne goddamit.

Just because dragon ball franchise don't put up inconsistent overpowered female humiliating male characters doesn't mean they're not great and memorable, come on guys this is not Netflix or nowadays Marvel.
I dont see the hate in the Universe 2 fighters . They literally brought a new meaning of power to the show . Love was literally a power good enough to fight in this tournament . Not to mention they actually lasted as long as universe 6 .
Ribrianne and her crew give big time exaggerated Sailor Moon vibes. I don't hate the episodes, I think they're fun. Ribrianne is definitely a little annoying though.
While the Tournament of Power arc was very entertaining it also was extremely predictable. I've seen a multitude of people including myself predict the outcome long before the end. That's one of the negatives of Dragonball. You can easily predict the outcome of certain battles or outcomes of an entire arc/saga.

From the moment Jiren was introduced I predicted that Goku would be heavily involved in his defeat which was true. The moment both Frieza and #17 were kept absent without actually being knocked out of ring I tweaked my prediciton to include both of them being involved in Jiren's defeat alongside Goku and this came true. I also predicted that Goku would get a new transformation which came true. I predicted that Vegeta would have his classic 15 seconds of fame against the main villain/opponent ( Jiren ) before getting destroyed which came true. I predicted that Vegeta would get knocked out by Jiren which came true. I predicted that Vegeta would help or in some way inspire Goku to defeat Jiren which came true when he got knocked out because he gave his last bit of energy to Goku. Only a few things surprised me such as Goku mastering Ultra Instinct and Vegeta actually getting a new transformation because Toriyama dislikes the character ( Yes Toriyama actually confirmed this in a interview ). Vegeta's new transformation also wasn't created by him. I'm not trying to be arrogant about it but Dragonball hardly has any major twists and turn. The outcome of certain things are easy to predict. For example whenever there's a main villain just say Goku will defeat him and you'll be right 95% of the time lol. The biggest twist they could write is actually letting Vegeta defeat a main villain/opponent ON HIS OWN. This has never happened since his introduction and it would probably break the internet if it ever happened. I don't know if you keep up with the manga but if you do then you'll probably know that A LOT of people got hyped during the Moro arc when it looked like Vegeta would be victor against Moro with his new technique but I knew it wouldn't happen because again Toriyama has the character lol. Dragonball has a habit of repeating patterns such as Vegeta getting used as a punching bag by the main villain/opponent before Goku eventually wins. This makes prediciting things easy.
Out of all the fighters in the Tournament of Power, absolutely no one got on my last freakin' nerve like those girls from Universe 2. Sure, the Pride Troupers' schtick got a little old and tired, but corny as it was, at least I could stomach it, unlike the whole lame ass song and dance routine put on by the second universe fighters. I spent the entire tournament just hoping for them all to get knocked out so they'd finally shut the hell up, and I actually celebrated a bit when they were gone. I had the same reaction when Universe 4 got taken out, but only because I couldn't stand their destroyer lol.
