Well atleast his quite of a sharpshooter were he shoots the one that killed Antiope and the other German soldier on his left while not looking from his blindspot
I love how four boat-loads of German Soldiers (who SHOULD be NAVY) turns magically into 6 boats...and, once on shore, again magically becomes at least 2 Platoons. Amazing!
Mister -V- they send in reinforcements see that big ship over there? It carries the boats and they send some backup boats
@@howardthealien2606 and for some reason that big boat didn't provide fire support(as i remember that every naval ship had it own MG, Flak and canon including the big boat in the movie)

To everyone wondering why the Amazons left the high ground even with their bows and arrows: The amazons have an honour code where they need to see the faces of the people they will kill/have killed. Diana even mentions it in the same movie.

People saying bows are dishonorable clearly have not a clue how they were used. Bows were used in basically all ranges and the best archers could fire several arrows a second. Stop using movie and videogame logic to determine what is and isn’t honorable you fiends.

What I like about this is that it wasn't a one sided victory, those guns probably surprised the Amazons

I have to disagree because it is too flashy, too flamboyant. Troy was much better. This looks like a copy of Troy. I love Wonder Woman and definitely I am going to watch it at theater whenever it is released, but c'mon guys, the first Wonder Woman movie was meh. Especially Ares was ridiculous. I love The Destroyer. The action was short but better in that movie.

I was actually physically angry when they didn’t form square in response to that cavalry charge.
And they looked like they didn't know how to fight either.
Even during armies that had guns they would've been trained to fight with the rifle in close quarters
I think it is ok. They were under fire and maybe had discipline issues, the commander or sergeant may have been kia or whatever. I think the lack of bayonets in a WW1 scene was more annoying.

Infantry squares weren't really a tactic when WWI rolled around. Especially when already engaged with enemy Infantry.
The counter charge was fairly stupid however.

Kinda weird though...considering the amount of damage Diana could tank from Doomsday and Steppenwolf, it'd seem obvious that her body is durable enough to resist gunfire..
And yet her aunt died in order to shield her from the bullet, despite knowing that Diana is actually a demi-god..
Atlanteans are definitely superior in terms of strenght and durability when compared to amazons..Arthur took a grenade launcher shell to the chest and he just went "ouch".
The average Atlantean can't even breath on the surface. And do your homework before you try to bash something. Wonder Woman isn't imune to bullets or knifes. The Amazons are absolutely able to fight the Atlanteans and Arthur Curry could only stop Wonder Woman by drowning her. She is stronger than him (and i don't say that out of feminism reasons), she was even able to break Supermans Arm in an alternate Comic Storyline.

Atlanteans are stronger and more durable because they evolved in order to resist to the enormous pressure they experience in the depths of the ocean.. Amazons are weaker and less durable.. Diana is the only exception, because she's the daughter of Zeus.
@Mike signs Yes but the logic of the universe makes no sense still. If she can withstand Doomsday her skin can withstand bullets. The universe just wants to have it's cake & eat it.
Bullets are dangerous because the speed they are going at can essentially pierce through stuff, same with knifes and sharp stuff that... well, it's sharp.
Doomsday hits like a truck but he doesn't cut or pierce, he uses blunt force.

Bullets move much faster than arrows. The Germans also have bayonets which they could use to impale charging horses, the bayonet actually made the spear obsolete. If the Germans had machine guns and/or Grenades, the Amazons could have been decimated.
To be fair, would you expect to find a magic island of warriors?
It was more of a surprise to the Germans
Just realize that none of them attach bayonet on their rifle, pretty sure that is the most common item in WW1, unless it was only for the frontline
