Super video! Victor ... a fabulous musician and friend who will be greatly missed
Victor would often show up Sunday mornings at our house in Heaton Moor, first thing he would say is "Can I put the Open University on" Vic would usually stay with us all day then after Sunday dinner we would all go off to the Surrey Arms in Glossop where I had the honour of jamming with Victors "Blues Train" a couple of times. Great days. R.I.P. Vic a musical legend who will be missed by many,
Had the pleasure of playing drums with victor in kitty O'Shea's in Burnley on a couple of occasions he was a true gentleman and a wonderful musician to listen to his stories after the gig when he would enjoy his pint of wine was a wonderful experience for me God bless Victor may he rest in peace along with my friend David France who ran kitty O'Shea's the would is at a loss missing these wonderful people 🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🙏🙏

Victor used to mention his old friend & guitarist Peter Bocking and I was delighted to hear Pete mentioned on Graham Nash's Desert Island Discs today ( 7th Jan '24) Peter was very astute and gained a following on the internet media with his observations I particularly liked this about Victor "Since we are in the Brox season, did you know his first name is COLBY? Yes, Colby Victor Hickling. Which, truth to tell, sounds more black than Victor Brox. Ironic, ain't it?"
