The Discographers & Associates from Salt Lake City do Mazzy Star's "Fade Into You."
Featuring a return appearance of new Associate Discographers April Fortin (lead vocal), Kelsey Carlston (keyboard) and Columbia Jones (tambourine), along with Executive Discographers Randin Graves (guitars), Dan Beaudoin (bass) and previous Associate Tallen Cox (drums). Recording, filming, mixing and editing by Randin except for lead vocals recorded and shot by April. Guitars by Fender & Taylor, Bass by Fender, Piano sound by Vienna Symphonic Library. Recorded in MOTU Digital Performer, edited in Final Cut Pro X.

This is my all-time favorite song since I've heard it for the first time 11 years ago, heard every live performance of it, every cover and I bought a lap steel guitar to practice on because of it.
This is hands down the best cover of this master piece I've heard (along side East Hundred's cover).
I just love this song and definitely love your version, something about these lyrics and the slide guitar solo is hunting.
I've already learned to play the bass guitar and slide guitar parts, will record a cover soon (if my wife who has a beautiful voice and sings it beautifully agrees and gets the time to join me)

At least y'all played it right. There's so many covers of that here on UA-cam, and many leave out that "D" chord. Our band used to play that around 20 years ago. And yes, we did use the tambourine.
Yep, the detail of the D is so important! I love that idea of just putting in that one change amidst the otherwise repetitive song.
And damn right, you better have that tambourine. Leaving it out would be like Don't Fear the Reaper without the cowbell.

There are just two others with April guesting so far. She also does Fleetwood Mac really well, capturing the sweetness of Stevie Nicks' voice but without the harder edge. We did a really faithful 'Dreams' cover. Then we have her doing 'Wicked Game' sounding very different from the original. Hopefully we can post more with her soon.
