My Take-aways;
1) Establishing shot sets the scene figuratively (establishing the feel, tone, etc.) and literally (clear elements make shots in the scene easier to convey in a unified way).
2) Make the establishing shot elements clear and unmistakable
3) The background elements should serve the story more than they need to be literal, realistic, etc., although a historical scene shouldn't distract from the impact by having anachronistic details
4) Clear color palette, consistently used, can limit the need for details in subsequent shots in the scene.

Hi Codex.. good stuff,had to watch twice. The story dictate's the art but doing the things in this lesson make it readable. Seem's to me the background would be more important in a single picture but than again background's can take away from the importance of the story. Now I'm confused 😎
