@blocboy CJ910 yeah I didn't see him there on Thursday at all. And I'm not sure if he event went. I did see on a FB post that sometime on the weekend Shawn Ellington was there.
Thanks Tom. Those were some nice shots of the cars. I love the "Hulk" That shade of green with the black is so nice. It was nice to see the "Black op's " car. I havent seen it in quite some time Regards, Ody
That's awesome Matt. I did check out Leroy when I was there and took some video and pictures of it, I like watching the Cleetus videos that guy is King right now. ha ha. Are you on Instagram at all? If so check my stuff out on there, I posted one of my videos of Leroy on there. It is @Tom_Eighty on Instagram.
Man me and my wife were wanting to go but on the web site where you register it said you had to be affiliated with a race team or a company owner. But I've saw younger kids there and there's no way everybody there owns a race team. How did you all get in?
Hey @Cody RatliffTM, I got in with a media credential. I just had to prove to them that I owned the TomEightyVideos.com website and they gave me a free pass.
@@codyratliff8302 my daughters grandparents had a booth there they sell race fuel ...best way to get passes is to know sum one plus vendors get a certain number of passes and give them out to friends and family prob why there's a lot of kids...and media channels get passes also...but there were sum people selling sum there also
@@mattterk753 that's kinda what I thought.. Thanks for the info and reply man, hopefully see you guys there next year!
Dominator owned the roller and traded Monza for assembling a motor for him, Chucks car was built by Murder Novas dad Richard. Just an FYI my friends, God bless.
I know, I saw that too when I was editing the video. But hey, what can you say, those guys are the King of Racing videos and really paid the dues and put in the time. It is nice to have something to look up to.
@@tomeighty those were the guys to watch raceing videos, but thay lost it in the editing. Often left me wondering who won the race. But my friend Tom has all that covered. Thanks. !!!!
Thank you for the kind words, that makes me feel good. And I know what you mean where some small details are missing out of some videos out there on the internet, and hopefully that is where I can shine a little bit and take the time to make the viewing experience right.
2:05 what is the little rectangle stack on top of the intake ? a vent of some kind? ive done many old school type engines but am not too familiar with the fuel injection stuff
Kevin Felton i met Chris at a gas station in Oklahoma last week got to shake his hand, cool dude didnt want to be all fanboy and ask for a pic cause i bet they get tired of that
Jake Browne It depends what’s he doing. If he’s with his family yeah he might be a little upset but if he by himself he don’t mind. It’s called boundaries
It was pretty cool, but I made sure I got there right away on the first day to beat the crowds so I could get video like this. It got packed around noon time, so I was glad that I went early like that. Thanks for watching Dave!
Hey William, thank you for subscribing! I don't have any info or details on the truck but I did take video of it when I was in Oklahoma at the Outlaw Armageddon 3 race in 2017 and it was having some issues holding the truck with the trans brake on the starting line. It is a diesel truck with a ProCharger supercharger on it. I might add the video of that truck in Oklahoma on the next "Truck" video I make. If you haven't seen my latest truck video I put out yesterday you can watch it here: ua-cam.com/video/fHIYsF_y1Co/v-deo.html
Jeff Lutz has that engine all the way in the firewall. I didn't think that the 405. OKC went past 2 or 4 inches from factory. I don't know maybe it's just me. But I do think that Jeff Lutz and daddy Dave's car look's the best out of the OKC 405.
Thanks for watching Carl. If you are from Miami, I get down there quite often because my brother lives down there. I was there in July this last summer and usually I spend Christmas down there, but not this year. Love that place!
Hey Brett, yeah I feel way out of the loop on this one. The reason why I just found out that Dominator owned Monza's Camaro was because I heard the rumors that he was building another 70's Camaro. Some how that info slipped on by me. Was it on one of the episodes that he talked about it or was it on the Chief and Shawn Podcast???
It was on season 11 Monza talk's about it and said he put together a short block for Dom and Dom traded him the shell of the car for the work manza did
He had cancer. There is documentary on the street outlaws when rhey first started it aired about 6 months ago. You might be able to find it on Discovery's website.

Thank you Matthew! The last Daddy Dave video I posted was last month when he was racing in Texas at the Finals of the No Prep Kings season 2 show. Check it out if you have not seen it already ua-cam.com/video/DoB1plDsytc/v-deo.html
No prep is lack of grip, Can only apply so much HP, Anymore is a waste, Adding weight to the rear would allow more grip and allowable HP to be used. Where is the sweet spot on HP, weight, and speed, Can a 4x4 turn a better time? Can a dually small tire side by side get a better time? The Physics involved is fascinating. We know a prepped track will take 8000HP. I dought no prep can exceed 2500HP. Building a car to go the fastest on a no prep road would seem to have two variables. Grip and weight and those two will tell you your HP allowed. fascinating sport, Wonder if anyone has really understood the physics involved. I see through the years it's evolved by trial and error, Has anyone started with the blackboard first?
For sure, physics is involved big time. And it is a lot of guess work as to how the track is doing as the day goes on depending if the sun is on the track or some clouds came in and stuff like that. But for sure you cannot use all those high horsepower numbers but the interesting part is that at the last quarter of the track sometimes they can give it a quick burst of that power if they have it available. Like with the scramble button for turbo cars, if you hit that when you are losing by a fender it will let the turbos and boost loose and shoot to the moon with power. Cool stuff, and thanks for the great comment!
