I have a box to sat in my draw and looked for something like this to inspire me and you totally did that. Thank you wish me look because if mine is half as good as yours I will be happy. Thanks x
This is just beautiful. I have a wooden book box that I purchased last year that I wanted to do something special with. Just watched this tutorial of yours and am totally inspired to try this. Hope mine comes out half as beautiful as yours! I do not have some of the items you mentioned (they are not available here in India and even if they were, they would be terribly expensive), but will improvise... :) thanks for sharing this beautiful piece of work with us.
I love how this box turned out and I saved the video for future references. Your videos are inspiring and informative. Have you varnished the whole box or only the part with the image? Have you ever had problems with stickiness when the box stays closed for a longer time? I ask because I painted a few boxes with acrylic paint and varnished them inside and outside with water based varnish from Pentart and if they stayed closed for a longer period of time they are a little harder to open.
I varnished the whole box inside and outside but I applied more coats on the lid where the image is. Are you using varnish and glue in one? I use builders varnish from Ronseal and never had problems with sticking. Remember that varnish touch dries in one hour or so and it take about one month to completely dry and harden. I leave my boxes open for several weeks with brush between lid and base.
Thank you for your answer and your advice. As a varnish I used so far only Pentart matte or glossy varnish, like the one you use at 17:22 but water based. I did only one box with the decoupage technique; the few others I did were decorated with acrylic paint only, at that point I did not have decoupage varnish and glue. I'll use your advice and let them dry for a longer period of time. We have a few big hardware stores in my town but I never went there looking for varnish for my boxes. I don't think they have Ronseal products. I'll have to visit them soon with this in mind.
wow that is really incredible and what i love to create and my favorite but i want ask you about all tools that you used ! Are they all available at your store? Even that wrapper you use to paste and those boxes ! And what countries do you reach? I am interested

Congratulations for the creative idea! I was wondering where I could order this relief paste you're using at 9:20, in a tube with a small mouth, so I can create these beautiful dots. I cannot find the tube in the list you have given in the comments. Thank you beforehand.

Quick question : did you sanded the box prior?? 🤔
I did:)
Aggies Craft 👍🙏🏻
love this
Thank you
I love it
Thank you
Love this, just wish I could afford to buy all those things.
Outstanding
Magnifico¡¡
Thank you
can I ask why you opted to use black acrylic paint on the box instead of Gesso?
I didn't have any black gesso and you can use acrylics with wood instead. Surface of the wood is matt and rought so acrylics can stick to it easily.
@@AggiesCraft thank you, I've never done a box before only Canvas, but want to make a memory box for my late husband
Excelente!!!
