Hey! I thought your channel seemed like a good place to ask a question. This is off topic from the video but relates to babysitting. How many babysitting gigs do you get during the summer? Are they common? Because I have school during the school year and dont have time to babysit, but during the summer I have plenty of time. How often would I get gigs per week? And how much would I be getting per week? Thanks! Any answer is appreciated.
Hi 👋🏽!! Thank you for commenting. Yes, I receive requests to babysit during the summer time but I tend to only take on 1-2 families. Babysitting during the Summer tends to be in demand because school is closed. The number of gigs and pay rate depends on several factors we can certainly discuss together. It’s normal to babysit while in school. I’ve done it 😊

You have more flexibility to babysit even during the weekdays because you are in college. More flexibility equals more opportunities to secure gigs in addition to the weekends lol . Also, because you are older you’ll be able to work with a younger age groups like toddlers or infants if that is your preference. Hope this helps ❤️

Hi Luna, I recommend that anyone can begin babysitting at 11 years old. However, hands on experience with either siblings or family members and a form of training is your first step. And is it easy? I have had past experiences with babies and toddlers as well. Also one of my main questions is do the parents require anything for let’s say someone my age, looking after their child?
