OK, so here's my contribution to your video as an Italian who was there when Huntik first came by. -The comicbook series lasted for more issues in Italy than in the US (you mention 10 issues, but here we got 18 IIRC). -The commercial you show at 8:18 is for a different kind of merch than the one you describe, a series of blind-packed figures where you could find various Titans and their amulets which were released only in Italy (with Cherit and Gareon being released only as freebies with the comics). I still have a bunch of them. -OH GOD CHERIT'S ENGLISH VOICE IS SO ANNOYING. The Italian VA (who also did Daxter's voice in Jak and Daxter, Brook in One Piece and Starscream in Transformers Animated among others) is way better than that. He also died last November, and that's really sad.
It really bothers me how we never found out what happened to Sophie's family, Lok' s father, Zhalia's backstory as well as Dante' s. Not to mention I shipped Sophie x Lok and Dante x Zhalia so much
For Zhalia actually in season 1 they already show she's an orphan and being adopted. For Sophie and Lok family member they don't give us clear explanation
The show Itself shipped them yet kept cutting it off and teasing more, im sort of sad they didn't go through with it more, but at the same time, it wasn't a love series so it sort of makes sense as well why they didn't do too much focus on the shipping, yet more on the titans, the past, the history, legends and saving the world

I adore huntik so much, I remember back when it was new I had a massive crush on Sophie. I got huntik both seasons on dvd, that was hard to get, season 2 dvds are pretty rare from what I seen. And I got a few of the amulets still hanging from my window

I had a very hard time searching for this show. I kept on typing “animated series about creatures coming out of a chain”. I finally found it by going through the list of programs broadcasted by Disney XD. I remember I really loved watching Huntik when I was a child back in 2010-2012. This is honestly one of the most underrated series of all time.
The show had flaws, but still nostalgic none the less. you're right, it didn't age well. but honestly most things i watched on 4kids back in the day did, so oh well.
It aged fine, the writing and animation more than holds up today compared to the schlock that kids are forced to watch today. There’s the a reason the show is still so popular.
Its second season was a little weak, but it definitely ended off on a cliffhanger with that heartbeat coming from the red comet and the Spiral Mark. Makes me wonder what could have been.
bruh this show was so hype as a kid. The theme song was hype, I thought the characters were hype and awesome. I loved the history and that element of the show hell even the card game was hype. I remember watching S1 in 6th grade and going into 7th grade and my homie mentioning about season 2 and I was so excited about it. This show needs to come back
Well honestly i didn't mind these recycled titan summoning animations, especially that later they were cut into shorter format but well transition form traditional animation of 1st season to this flash animation of 2nnd was... ugh... painful to watch, i mean ok it wasn't perfect but flash animations were so stiff and felt like just rushed mass produced, well saw a lot good flash animations but these weren't and example of such.
Pretty much in season 2 i feel like they just didn't respect the "power scale" in the show, and ,everyone, i believe ended up with a personal legendary titan that made no sense as to how they were already around, yet in season 1 the orignal 3 had such a massive amount of power in comparison to the rest of the monster cast. I like the phoenix idea to have them revive dante, but having one just for the casterwills felt, cheap.
tbf the 3 main legendary Titans (Behemoth Tao and Araknos) can outclass all of the legendary titans of the casterwills. You got behemoth outstanding strength can even make an Earthquake. Tao can basically one shot titans and Araknos is mind control (ignatius being the only titan that is unaffected by this)

3:58 Well, for me that was one of the coolest parts of the show. Seeing the titans being summoned various times on different episodes made me bond with the characters and also helped to memorize their names when I wanted to play Huntik on the school playground with my friends. Besides, those animations were short and cool which made them not feel repetitive for me as a kid!
This was so good I binged it like 12 times I hope they wil make a season 3. We should start a petition? I learned so much about mythologie and history when I was younger.

i love both seasons of Huntik, i even made some of the Amulets out of clay years ago, but i had to throw them away because the paint kept on flaking and chipping, i even tried making them out of Resin and silicone plastic modes, but the Resin i was using was coming out soft, probably due to it being expired, but i am in the process of trying again some day.

Huntik 😭😭🤧!!!!! It was one of my favorites cartoon. I actually liked season 1 better and I don’t understand it’s so underrated. I watched it in French when I was 10/12 years and I still love it I would even watch it again today while social distancing if I didn’t have exams after the quarantine.

I loved this show! I binged it on Netflix! I wasn't bothered by the summoning transitions, the music helped a lot with that! I actually liked Cherit, he's adorable, and the voice fit him like a glove! (He kinda reminds me of a friends fursona for some reason!) Sophie was strong and independent in earlier parts of the series, but then it just seemed like she was thrown onto Lok...It didn't break the series for me, but that trope is kinda cliche for me... I totally thought she and Zhalia would be single, and not falling head over heels over someone. (Though perhaps I'm too used to adult CBS shows where teasing SLOWLY developes into love, or the, teasing is still there. Take NCIS LA, Kensi and Deeks, they're married, but still heavily tease each other, and can fully handle themselves in most citations. Thomas Magnum and Higgins from the new Magnum P.I., Desi and Macgyver from the new Macgyver etc... No damsel in distress who needs to be saved by a main hero. Eh, I might've ignored it more if I was in their target audience, but I'm an adult now... It's been done a million times, but I'll still watch it. Yes, you can be strong with a spouse (gender neutral), but it was just so sudden of a change from the first season to later seasons is all. I think some other things may have irked me, but I can't remember them for the life of me. I adored Pendragon, he was so cool, and Lindorm! (I for some weird reason kept thinking of Lindt chocolate whenever he was mentioned. Also, he looks like a rat, snake, dragon, and I was born in a year of the rat, so despite his agression, he was neat!)

literally the intro was what got me into trying to watch the show, I was seeing commericals on it all the time back when Jetix was alive at the moment but I never got really got to see it. So years later when Netflix got it I was like okay I'll watch it and somehow I wasnt into it. I mean I liked the setting in Italy cuz I was there on a study abroad trip but like the concept of those spirit/monsters didnt really click for me and the animation of how they were summoned, the sound was literally straight out of Pokemon when they come out of their pokeball.

Awesome episode Huntik was one of my favorite cartoons growing up however im surprise that you didn't also mention that Huntik jumped networks from CW11 kids to Nicktoons or it at lest did in Missouri idk.
8:35 from how it is written, it was an event hosted at an already existing theme park in Rome, with four stands dedicated to characters of the show and two huntik themed attractions, one being a laser tag I think, and the other maybe a water ride? I am a native speaker but both are described as if they were within the fiction of the universe. the next page again shows some attractions at some event in another park plus quizzes you can complete on the website.

I actually own the will blade and the mini figure of Pendragorn is always on my desk, this show carries me so many memories. In Italy was easier to find merchandise. An amusement park near Rome has a full attraction with an Huntik theme, in Italy was very popular and I love this so much.

Winx club was incredibly popular outside of Italy. I remember watching it when I was little with my younger sister and I'm from the UK. I believe it was a hit throughout Europe and likely also North America since it was dubbed by 4kids initially. The series is still ongoing and has 8 seasons whilst Netflix is planning a live action for it currently. As for Huntik, I loved that show and would watch it on Jetix with my siblings back in the days. I know every single word of the English intro for Huntik by heart despite having not watched it for almost a decade. Rainbow made some 10/10 shows tbh.
If Huntik's writing, animating and presentation held up as well as its music, I think this would have been a bigger cult classic As is, it's kinda like the Sonic of cartoons. Good when we were kids, but not holding up very much now (tbh, I still love it)
huntik is great, one thing i got to say is i remember near the end of season 2 they reveal that the first contact with loks dad wasn't actually fake which means what he said about being stuck in the world on the huntik creatures is real so meme_inspector is wrong, searching for a way to find loks dad and save him or exploring that world of huntik creatures could have been the plot of season 3
While season 2 lacks sometimes, season 1 is really good. Yes, the script is lowkey bad written, the drawings move weird sometimes and the relationships were not enough developed, but it was a good season with a lot of potential. The characters are good, the plot is good. The designs are SICK. It is so sad this show didnt receive enough promotion bc it is actually better than Winx and I believe it could've been really big. Leaving it in a cliffhanger still hurts me to this day. I hope Netflix takes this show and does a continuation even if it is live-action, I think it would work really well.

I found the show on Netflix, however they have taken it down. I thought the premise of the show was good. And yes, they may have taken some liberties with the history’s information, but if the kid wanted to know more they could research it. The Titan’s amulets and creatures were way cool making me wish I had some. But oh well, not gonna happen. Haha. As for the animation, original shows could get remastered with better details. As for continuing, the organization could have been better organized and have laid low while the Spiro group was taking front and maybe taking a few years for the team to grow adding the brothers from season two as another team to help out. This could give time for a few of the amulets to made or lost from agents. I enjoyed watching the show and would watch again if it comes back on.

tbf the 3 main legendary Titans (Behemoth Tao and Araknos) can outclass all of the legendary titans of the casterwills. You got behemoth outstanding strength can even make an Earthquake. Tao can basically one shot titans and Araknos is mind control (ignatius being the only titan that is unaffected by this)

3:58 Well, for me that was one of the coolest parts of the show. Seeing the titans being summoned various times on different episodes made me bond with the characters and also helped to memorize their names when I wanted to play Huntik on the school playground with my friends. Besides, those animations were short and cool which made them not feel repetitive for me as a kid!
This was so good I binged it like 12 times I hope they wil make a season 3. We should start a petition? I learned so much about mythologie and history when I was younger.

When I clicked on the video I didn't actually recognize the show's title, only had clicked because I liked your videos but then you showed the characters and I immediately remembered that I used to watch that all the time as a kid lmao
i love both seasons of Huntik, i even made some of the Amulets out of clay years ago, but i had to throw them away because the paint kept on flaking and chipping, i even tried making them out of Resin and silicone plastic modes, but the Resin i was using was coming out soft, probably due to it being expired, but i am in the process of trying again some day.
I used to love that show when I was about 6/7 I remember watching it on CITV before school 😂

Huntik 😭😭🤧!!!!! It was one of my favorites cartoon. I actually liked season 1 better and I don’t understand it’s so underrated. I watched it in French when I was 10/12 years and I still love it I would even watch it again today while social distancing if I didn’t have exams after the quarantine.

Sophie was strong and independent in earlier parts of the series, but then it just seemed like she was thrown onto Lok...It didn't break the series for me, but that trope is kinda cliche for me...
I totally thought she and Zhalia would be single, and not falling head over heels over someone.

literally the intro was what got me into trying to watch the show, I was seeing commericals on it all the time back when Jetix was alive at the moment but I never got really got to see it. So years later when Netflix got it I was like okay I'll watch it and somehow I wasnt into it. I mean I liked the setting in Italy cuz I was there on a study abroad trip but like the concept of those spirit/monsters didnt really click for me and the animation of how they were summoned, the sound was literally straight out of Pokemon when they come out of their pokeball.

I am a native speaker but both are described as if they were within the fiction of the universe.

I actually own the will blade and the mini figure of Pendragorn is always on my desk, this show carries me so many memories. In Italy was easier to find merchandise. An amusement park near Rome has a full attraction with an Huntik theme, in Italy was very popular and I love this so much.
So today I not only found out that Winx Club is popular outside Italy, but also that someone watched freakin HUNTIK. Well, that's definitely something. I was 12 when this first came out in Italy and I was obsessed by it!
Now, since we're talking about Rainbow, please tell me that Monster Allergy is famous too, because that was definitely my favorite as a child.

Winx club was incredibly popular outside of Italy. I remember watching it when I was little with my younger sister and I'm from the UK. I believe it was a hit throughout Europe and likely also North America since it was dubbed by 4kids initially. The series is still ongoing and has 8 seasons whilst Netflix is planning a live action for it currently. As for Huntik, I loved that show and would watch it on Jetix with my siblings back in the days. I know every single word of the English intro for Huntik by heart despite having not watched it for almost a decade. Rainbow made some 10/10 shows tbh.
If Huntik's writing, animating and presentation held up as well as its music, I think this would have been a bigger cult classic
As is, it's kinda like the Sonic of cartoons. Good when we were kids, but not holding up very much now (tbh, I still love it)

huntik is great, one thing i got to say is i remember near the end of season 2 they reveal that the first contact with loks dad wasn't actually fake which means what he said about being stuck in the world on the huntik creatures is real so meme_inspector is wrong, searching for a way to find loks dad and save him or exploring that world of huntik creatures could have been the plot of season 3
While season 2 lacks sometimes, season 1 is really good. Yes, the script is lowkey bad written, the drawings move weird sometimes and the relationships were not enough developed, but it was a good season with a lot of potential. The characters are good, the plot is good. The designs are SICK. It is so sad this show didnt receive enough promotion bc it is actually better than Winx and I believe it could've been really big. Leaving it in a cliffhanger still hurts me to this day. I hope Netflix takes this show and does a continuation even if it is live-action, I think it would work really well.

Sorry it just notified me I got a reply. That is not really what happened, Stormhawks got canceled and they later went on to make Slugterra. But it was so similar to Stormhawks (especially in animation style) that I was jokingly suggesting that is what happened.

Dinosaur king was and still is one of my all time favorite shows

Zatch Bell's anime continued beyond Zofis' arc, but didn't catch up to the manga.
I found the show on Netflix, however they have taken it down. I thought the premise of the show was good. And yes, they may have taken some liberties with the history’s information, but if the kid wanted to know more they could research it. The Titan’s amulets and creatures were way cool making me wish I had some. But oh well, not gonna happen. Haha. As for the animation, original shows could get remastered with better details. As for continuing, the organization could have been better organized and have laid low while the Spiro group was taking front and maybe taking a few years for the team to grow adding the brothers from season two as another team to help out. This could give time for a few of the amulets to made or lost from agents. I enjoyed watching the show and would watch again if it comes back on.
