The Lion King: Simba’s Mighty Adventure is a video game adaptation of The Lion King and its direct-to-video sequel The Lion King: Simba's Pride to the Game Boy Color. Here, you play as Simba and go through many stages of his life, from a innocent cub traumatized by the death of his father to king of the Pride Lands. All of this is portrayed as simple platforming segments that are similar to previous The Lion King games and a few autoscroller segments.
XTREMAL93 ( tasvideos.org/... ) here endures the soundtrack and helps Simba solidify his legacy in record time.

While it is a little tougher than what the developers probably intended, I'd say, from experience, that it isn't too difficult for the most part and really doesn't need tool assistance to beat. The average Mega Man game is tougher than this.
