I have some Caithness paperweights and they are of high quality and very creative in design. Some of the colors are amazing. I like the abstracts ones and the lamp work ones. The most interesting one is a larger glass block, tropical rainforest.
Intro 10/10... Im here to feed your paperweight addiction liked and subscribed 😂, i often que up these videos to get inspiration for ideas that one day to execute on, very nice pieces have a wonderful day.
Thanks for the video. Very interesting. Im thinking of starting to collect glass paperweights. I recently took possession of a glass paperweight i grew up with and that always fascinated me as a kid. How would i go about trying to identify its origin? It's been in my family for more than 50 years, and my dad, who got it, was an antique dealer, so it's probably much older than that. Any ideas about how i would investigate? Thanks.
There are a couple of facebook groups which are good. They are not for sales but they will help with ID. One is "Paperweight Heaven". The other is "Northern Paperweight Society". :D Thank you for commenting
