That is exactly how Kit Fisto's lightsaber looked when the DLC originally dropped for Battlefront 2 in 2005. The lightsaber design was purposeful, as he is based off the clone wars desgin (the original clone wars which didn't have Ahsoka).
Ah that makes sense I haven’t watched the old old clone wars, only the new(ish) one, but I’ve seen they received some backlash about it online so I guess that’s why they’re changing it
I think it's because it's suppose to have an animation like the lightsaber waves would move that's what's getting changed.
@@hamsanner It is like that because that saber can be used underwater, the main battleground for Kit Fisto.
By the time this game receives the console patch I feel hardly anybody will still desire to play this game online, unfortunately.
I bet you’re right, this is why all online maps & game modes should be playable offline.
Exactly. There are literally around 50-100 people playing online atm on playstation, I would imagine that number goes up with the update but it’s probably too late then
Once the update comes out, I'll be glad to play online. But it's taking FOREVER and I'm not playing the game until it comes out

That's what Kit Fistos lightsaber looked like in the original on Xbox. It's meant to look like his lightsaber when it was underwater from the 2003 Clone Wars show.

The light saber is an Easter egg from the original clone wars. They did it on purpose.

Why is aspire changing it? That was such a cool Easter egg. Also he won’t look the same because I think his character model is from the same scene.
@@hamsannerThere is another thing that you might have goofed on. I overheard that they released the wrong version of the game at release which is why the patch fixes so many things. Therefore what we got was what they had before play testing essentially. Quick edit, I think you missed the fact there are missing cut scenes on the story campaign mode for 501st.
I’ve got the Updated notification on my PS5 at 1:45 PM. I’m not sure about the timing of other people or if it’s different timing for other consoles but they did finally release it today on March 29th.

I’m totally fine playing offline myself. But would be nice to see the online working and have them fix some of these goofy bugs and such.

I'm probably going to be doing that most of the time anyways but the fact that I can't change the flight controls in the first battlefront makes me not want to play it because I love being on bespin platforms getting the flying ship for the clones and laying hellfire on the one pathway but I can't do that because they haven't released the update yet I don't understand why it takes a week more than a week to release an update but I but if it was a game like dragon's dogma 2 or another mainline game that just recently came out that update would be out within a day or two

Approved on consoles is odd. Arrowhead has updates for helldivers 2 often. Not sure why it’s taking this long for consoles.

I just updated the game. Any award buffs and weapons are now disabled regardless of rank or medals u had before the update. All that grinding was for fucking nothing. Thanks aspyr
The longer this update takes to be released for console, the more i'll have the attitude like general grievous.

This may seem like a little thing.But nobody's mentioning it if you're playing instant action.The opposing Teams heroes never spawn
Your own team never spawns a hero either unless you do it yourself. It’s like the only NPC heroes are in Hero Assault
I might be wrong but I think that’s intentional, for battlefront 2 anyway
@CorruptPianist I was just playing the og battlefront 2 on Xbox and when you spawn in as a hero the opposing team gets one too. I used to love fighting Ventress on Yavin Arena as Anakin and reenacting the 2d clone wars but I noticed in the classic collection she doesn't spawn in
The cantina music in heros vs villans was a issue in the og battlefront, so whenever you heard rhay all you could do was restart the game or suffer the fact when the cantina music plays it will cut your sound off.
Lol so they clearly didn’t change anything they just ported over with all of the previous issues XD

that Story behind Kit Fisto deeply goes very hard down the rabbit hole.
I would agree normally but I have been really enjoying BF2 2017, it’s probably the most fun I’ve had gaming in a while especially with modding
OG battlefront has a mod that let's you fight in space and on the ground during the same battle and you can fly to both activity...EA can't even come close. If I'm correct the most EA has is cosmetic mods that people had to fight for because EA was banning people at first...thus why a vast majority of fans enjoy the OG better then the money hungry new EA games.
I like bf2 2017 but it just pisses me off
@@hamsannerhere’s the difference both original battlefronts were great but only EA BF2 was great. I hate to say it the EA BF2 is on par with the originals but the first one was not good even compared to the buggy classic collection
What the hell is happening with this console update?! It’s taking forever! Helldivers and other games have weekly updates just fine.
i've just got off helldivers and it's in such a good place. it's fun, good updates, basically what you would expect from a video game ._.

Been playing on Xbox for a good week. It’s been fun, some glitches here and there but playable and fun
I have had a decent amount of fun on it but it’s nowhere near where it should be at all

What maps/modes are only available online?
@@eBell05 almost all of the modes, BUT with the small amount of players in the game now you will basically only be able to play the Aspyr dedicated server as it's the only one that has 20+ players in

They most likely found a very game breaking bug and weren’t going to do more damage to there companys name. They are lying about the release for consoles for now and doing major delays because the game doesn’t work yet on console and they had to fix more issues for console.

I normally have been supporting this release but no patch yet for consoles is getting ridiculous. I own on steam but no friends to play with so I wanna play my switch version instead. To bad I can enjoy bf1 because of the god off sound when loading in instead of the original.

A whole week! They must have a good reason as to why it’s been delayed. It might be too little too late though as so many people have refunded/stopped playing

I just got the notification around 1:45 PM, so you should be getting it today. I’m on PS5 so I’m not sure if the timing is different for other consoles. I just happened to turn my console on from test mode and it was updated already.

They brought to us a bug with some game in it!!! For God's sake, I cannot imagine what they were thinking! They gave us some gems in the past, and now even the no Y Axis inversion option would be the smallest issue.

For just those alone, yes! I enjoy it but I want to play online thats the only part that sucks

Not bad much less buggy than conquest. Force pull is aggravatingly OP and multi blade heroes/ villains are the best ( at least from what I’ve played)

Idk I haven’t played it in awhile either. I have like 1400 hours on BF2, that was the one I played the most. Haven’t played the original battlefront one EA since then.
