It's such a shame Xin Xianying was ignored in the Jin story.
Koei just slapped her into the Jin kingdom just for the sake of Jin having a new character, when Xin Xianying is practically a Wei officer.

Lady Xin Xianying, a wise woman. Help many times during the chaos, for her nephew and sons, to wei/jin in their plans and such. Her advices are very much admired.

techit senaratana Xin Xianying is really a girl who loves to read military books and classics! And Wei/Jin characters have gotten nicer over the decades. Xiahou Yuan, Yue Jin, Guo Jia, Dian Wei are pretty chill dudes and there’s Cai Wenji. Cao Cao has gotten softer and Zhenji too (to her own women).
Fumi Honestly, Even a maniac like Sima Yi or Jia Chong is getting softer too. But I just can’t help falling in love for Xin Xianying character.
She had all aspects of a great female character .

Funny fact: Xianying's son Yang Xiu was "trapped" alongside Hu Lie and Du Yu in Chengdu before Zhong Hui's executes the planned rebellion.
Nov what does that mean?
Saimen Nightwar Zhong Hui brought many of his subordinates to help him conquer Shu. Among them were Du Yu, Hu Lie and Yang Xiu (Xin Xianying's son, not that Yang Xiu who supported Cao Zhi). When Zhong Hui planned his rebellion, he held all Wei officers as hostages. They were able to escape when soldiers led by Hu Yuan overthrew Zhong Hui.
