3:42 The #1 handicap hole is not the most difficult, the numbers don’t represent difficulty, they represent scoring differential.
The number one handicap hole will have the largest scoring differential between a scratch and bogey golfer, the 18th handicap hole will have the smallest scoring differential

it looked like most of your tee shots from the front 9 were aiming more left than you thought. Looked like solid contact and didn't seem like a pull to me (i pull my shots a good bunch lolol)! Maybe one thing is to be careful with how far you tee up the ball relative to your left foot... I have a tendancy to place my ball pretty far left causing me to hook/pull my ball too sometimes. Great round overall tho Shan!!

Could be! Overtime, I have the tendency to creep one way or the other with aim 😂 thanks!

    Love following ur golf adventures!
I can see you're living a little more boujee now golfing. Highly recommend tpc toronto osprey valley hoot and angus glen north or south if ur willing to dish a few more dollars before the season ends. Osprey hoot is a must play. Angus Glen and Glen Abbey are personally my two fav public courses.
Feel like pipers is a tad overrated. Am not a fan of the way the greens are in pipers where they are unnecessarily hilly (prefer the links-style green in courses like Eagles Nest much more). Those greens on pipers feel like you are putting over a ski slope. On top of that if you miss 5 ft right of the green you are chipping out of a crater which I found silly. Found the layout in Pipers to be good with challenging bunker placements and lots of thick fescue which requires you to be straight off the teebox, but the course itself was nothing special and not really memorable (at least for me). I definitely like Glen Abbey more than Pipers. I have a bias toward well-maintained, scenic, and flatter courses. (ie glen abbey). Which is why I like Angus glen and Osprey a lot.
There is also another course about an hour from Toronto called Wooden Stix. Kinda like a golf resort and an interesting course where they copy famous holes in the world and give each of their holes a theme. Kind of a cool concept and unique for a golf course. They also have a resort there where you can pay for lunch, golf and dinner as a day package with good food.
Also if u didn’t know tiger woods hit a very famous shot on the 18th hole at glen abbey from the fairway bunker on the green. It’s on yt. I once tried dropping a ball from there and ended up in the water lol

I personally enjoyed Piper's, I thought it was a beautiful golf course and in great condition. That said, the greens at Pipers was definitely a bit annoying haha lots of slopes, the pin was always on the side of a slope, the sides of the greens fall off to a valley (just as you said). Links courses are deceptively simple until you have to swing or putt on a slope 😂
I also have a strong preference for well-maintained, open, and scenic golf courses! 😊
Just looked up Tiger's shot from the bunker - amazing! Especially in tournament 💯

did you check out the bunker on 18 on the right side? i think tiger hit a 5 iron 220 on to the green . one of most iconic shots

I did! A few people have mentioned Tigers shot on 18, amazing!! 💯⛳ can't imagine making that shot 😂 I would have to hit the most perfect 3 wood of my life

I just played it two days ago. I hit a great second shot on 17 and landed at the back of that green. The only chance at the hole i had was to chip... that was definitely a first. What a weird layout for a green is right

I’d go with Piper’s Heath. Glen Abbey is wonderful but I think I’d run out of golf balls with all the water.

Piper's is a great golf course! I made a vlog there recently 😊 I personally find it's easier to lose golf balls in the thick long stuff 😂 I don't mind water on golf courses!
