You are such a great groomer! You stand out from the rest because you talk to them the whole time, even when you're talking to the camera. They're calm because you are being comforting!! And you're right about the rakes! It has taken a year to repair the damage to my golden's coat. I won't use it again! I have learned a lot from your videos!! Thank you for the thorough job you do with them!!
She is the best on Utube!
I just love, love, love how you talk to your dogs. It’s so genuine. He’s just loving his bath. He’s beautiful. Great job.
You have said exactly what I was thinking. I bathe my Golden Retriever in the shower and get right in with her and talking to her has made her very comfortable with bath time. She now knows the routine: I put her collar on and gently guide her to the shower, where she will find the treat I have left her and she walks right in and sits down. I tell her how pretty she is and what a good girl she is. She seems to love all the attention and it doesn’t feel like a chore to me.
I love how you are with your dogs, you are so kind, caring, compassionate and respectful. Thank you so much for everything you do :)
You are so welcome
Racing through a groom just excites the dog, they need a calm and competent groomer like Amy!!
Amen sister!
Gosh I am so glad I started watching your channel. You are genuinely awesome. Love, love, love your videos. God bless you.
So happy you enjoy my videos:)
Can’t wait for your Newfoundland groom. I used to be a breeder and showed my dogs 25 years ago. I used the metro force dryer and really could of used a video of them being groomed. I did groomed them myself most of the time. I also showed them myself after I learned how from more experienced people and groomers. I do not have them anymore as I moved into a townhome and could not have them. I miss them dearly. Now I have my Havanese my emotional support dog. Love your videos.
Donna Monson I’m sorry to hear you wee separated from your dogs😢 I hope you enjoy my Newfie video when I release it... hopefully tomorrow 🤞 hugs!
You are a perfectionist.
...some may say OCD..😻
Loved the Newfoundland video! This is a labor intensive field! Tex is precious!
It really is! But very rewarding:)
Your kindness makes your magic. That's coming from your heart that's why he's following you.
Thanks for your videos. Thanks for sharing.💓🥂
Wow, thank you
I promise you, the minute I get the chance to come & visit you, I WILL ❤️
I would love that!! we could groom a dog together:)
Go Groomer That’ll he fantastic 😍
So glad I found you on instagram and I find new ones every time on UA-cam. I have three purebred English crème golden retrievers and they watch your videos with me 😊 aloha from Hawaii love ya!!
Oh wow! I love this!🥰
Informative! Out of 2 GSDs and 2 Goldens over the last 16 yrs, each de-shedded best with different tools. One Golden was easy peasy with a rake. The other is better with a slicker. Oh, and she LOVES to be vacuumed as she is brushed.. LOVES!! German Shedder #1, did well with a horse curry mitt and a body brush. My most recent GSD sheds best with bathing and a good Turkish towel. I will have to get a loofah. I bet her coat would do well with that?
I thought the undercoat was the water repelling layer since it seems to be oilier than the top coat and guard hairs?
What a good boy, TEX!
Some people have no clue about getting their pets groom. Getting them groomed especially for long haired dogs is not a spa day, it's a necessity and mandatory. Just like a human. Great video Amy 💖
Thank you 💖🙌
I really love watching these full length grooms Amy. Thank you! 🌸
I appreciate that:) my pleasure!
I love long grooming videos! So therapeutic!
I'm so glad!
Go Groomer sometime could you try first person view? Like a head mount for a GoPro or something? I feel like it would be easier to see what you are explaining if not maybe to putting the camera a little closer to what you’re working on? I love you videos and I love your vibe! I love how much you love and care for the dogs you work on!
Another excellent job groom the beautiful dog you are the best love always God bless you and your staff 💟💕💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖
You’re the best! 💕
Thank you. You are just an amazing woman. I appreciate the level of care and love you share with the animals you groom and all of us you are sharing with on UA-cam
I'm so glad that i found you, i've bathed our furry ones for 8 years before they went out of business and now after watching you im making a career move ,i believe 100% that this is my calling, i have been planning to open a mobile grooming business in seattle Wa. and maybe you can give me some pointers? not like you haven't already ive been watching your video's for day and will continue hopefully ill see you one of these Mondays live. I love everything abut how you run your shop and how you treat your doggies .have a blessed day Amy....
That is wonderful! Best wishes 💕
So excited I’m in your group will see you Monday I’m so excited and will be able to salute you
Thank you for everything you share! I don’t see the Absorber towel link in the description...& I want to be sure you get the commission, if possible! I will wait to order a few. If it is the one I think it is, I have used them for years to dry the cars after washing. Silly I never thought to use it on the dogs! Thank you for another great tip! We could use more people like you out here in California! Again, thank you so much.
Check her other videos, there is one for the absorber towel, link in description of video. 😊
AD 707 I want to live in California but hubby won’t go😢 here is a video with the absorber towel link and thank you for your support my friend💕

Your amazing! No short cuts. I've been a mobile groomer since 1969. Unfortunately I can't do large breeds in my van. My old back just can't do them anymore. I only do smaller beeeds. I remember being young and able to lift huge dogs 🐕 alone. Unfortunately as I have become older arthritis in my back won't allow me to lift heavy breeds. But I'm happy doing the smaller breeds. I subscribed and look forward to more videos.
I love the way she loves animals. Some groomers seem a little too gruff and insensitive to me, though they may do fine work. This is who I would trust my Bailey with, without hesitation.
Great job, beautiful dog!
For horses, it is the change in daylight that can cause the shedding. I believe several factors come into play; like temperature also. 👍🙂
Temperature
New to channel starting school March 3rd I am so inspired by watching you work and the love you have for the dogs thank you
Love Tex😍 He reminds me so much of my Charlie WhiteSocks who had four white paws that passed away at 12 years 8 months. Great video on Tex!
Beautiful boy! Soooo much work! I have had 4 goldens and sadly I am the type of person who comes in with my dog only a few times over the lifespan of my dogs. Sorry for people like me. I never considered what you said. Appreciate all the tips.
Don’t feel bad, now you know. That’s why I love helping people understand the needs of their pets. We all want to do right by our pets I’m just trying to help🙏
Love your cleaning process
I don't think it was for members only. You did an amazing job on Tex!❤
Raquel Grant no, it is public. I’m going to leave it out there because I think it will benefit many💕 thanks for enjoying it my friend!
@@GoGroomer, most definitely! I noticed through the live. That the landscape mode fixed itself!😂
You’re a great groomer with lots of tips for those just starting out, but there is no way my senior dogs can stand that long without support for a complete blowout..
Let them sit as much as possible.
@@GoGroomer I have supports for my senior dogs. I was just referring to your dog that you had on the grooming table . It stood for hours 😢😢😢
Hi!! I am really enjoying watching your videos! Can you share/explain again, why using a rake or furminator is bad for their coats?
It can damage the skin and coat permanently.
I dont eve have a dog or any or pet but i love your videos
you make me smile😊
Watched every second of this! You are so kind with your dogs. Can I ask you a question? I would love Golden Retriever but the internet tells me that if I can't tolerate a doggy smell then its not the dog for me. If I were to fully bath and dry thoroughly like this say every 10 to 14 days is there a chance that he wouldn't be a stinker? I don't expect him to smell of violets but I don't want to walk in my house and immediately smell dog. Your little friend today looked like he would smell delicious! Loving your channel!
Most definitely! The more they're brushed and bathed, the less they're going to smell. If you are planning to bath every 2 weeks, I don't forsee him hardly smelling.
Raquel Grant thank you! So
many people seem to suggest bathing bad for dogs but I’m thinking a lot of those people just not might not want the job of doing it 😀
@@AmeliaranneStiggins, you can bath your dog every week, if you wanted. As long as you're using the right products!
@@rkgrant16 Good to know! Thanks for taking the time to reply.
@@AmeliaranneStiggins, not a problem!🙂
For me Amy i wish i knew all the new grooming things that you taught me just from your videos and the live streams when i was a teenager when we started getting dogs that had to have hair cuts and all that and reaugler grooming and bushing so thank you for all the tip and little tricks you teach people i started grooming of shit tuzs poms and yourkies
Guuurrl you rock! Now I just want to be your dog :D Could you tell us about groomer's lung someday? Thanks a lot for sharing your beautiful being.
Thanks:) Sure can!
I hope to see a chow chow in your channel ☺️☺️
How do you clean and tweeZe hair or remove hair from goldens ears? Can u post the brushes you used? Love watching your videos
j w you do not pluck the goldens ears.. just clean with a pet ear cleaning solution 😊
Go Groomer that is what I always have done but wanted to be sure! Thx
hows was your vacation i sure need one with Sadiebug
Jamie Hankins awesome!
amazing video! what's the rake you're using?
So can you share your take on an american eskimo double coat and to SHAVE OR NOT TO SHAVE
Not to shave. Double shedding coats should never be shaved.
Hi I am new to your station or videos, so the Prima Bathing system travel able? I want to open a mobile grooming van Is this a good suggestion?
Erica Hearn it sure is... you want to consider their “Encore” model for mobile💕
Thank you
I've been looking at the encore model too but no one seems to say how much water is needed with that system. Could you give me an idea of how much water you would use for a standard golden retriever groom please. Thanks x
I thought you always brushed dogs before you bathed them? Or did I miss that step?
Yes I do
Can’t see the dog very well. Just got to move camera a bit. Oh that’s better. Thanks a bunch. Don’t want to miss a thing.
haha...cute:)
What type of bush are you using to de shed him while he is in the tub ? Thank you . It’s hard to see the bristles.
Any cheap slicker brush will work great in the tub:)

Hi Amy I am a new fan to you youtube channel. I have a question about grooming short haired dogs can you please do a video on how to force dry a lab or a hound with out using a cage dryer. The reason why I asked is cause I don't know how to dry a hound or a pit bull with out putting him in a cage for drying.
One of her newest videos, is her grooming her Bulldog.
ua-cam.com/video/CZy1vBAwc6Y/v-deo.html
My Shih Tzu was a puppy mill mom. I worry when I groom her tummy that I will nick or even cut off a teat! I use blade guards on my clippers rather than change blades for grooming dogs. What do professionals do in this case?
Can you list the products used?
Also, my golden, Roadie, is matted bad!
He’s in and out, mostly in during hot days.
How do I remove mats easiest?
My normal groomer has suggested shaving before and he has been twice.
Took to a new groomer who had him 9.5 hours, along with my Shih tzu😢😢😢
Horrible experience for him!
He’s half dematted only!
I may never take my dogs to another groomer.
She also cut my Shih Tzu not as requested!
But my poor Golden! How do I demat him easiest on both of us?
I am learning so much from your videos❣️
The reason your golden is matting so much is because you had him shaved and his undercoat is now disturbed. This video will help you demat him safely but you must keep brushing and bathing regularly or he will become matted again.
ua-cam.com/video/YcDZYQXMM08/v-deo.html
What's the name of the cloth you're using to hand dry him
Absorber towel, it’s linked in the description 🙌
hello just curious what sprayer your using in this video?
TriStarVet
how does the prima holds14 gallon is it small model
Love your channel. I've been grooming for a little over 17 years as well. I have a question for you. Do you groom any Goldens with Icthyosis. The dog mom and I have tried everything that's been suggested and absolutely nothing seems helpful. I know they need to be bathed every couple of weeks, which she is, and need to take a good skin supplement. It doesn't seem to bother her much except she gets yeast in her ears which when taken care of immediately isn't too much of an issue but the dark Dander on a Euro Cream Golden, oh my! Any advice with your experience with this would be very much appreciated.
I have never encountered a dog with this incurable disease but from what I have read seborrheic shampoos and moisturizing rinses are the only treatment. It may help but never cure this disease 😢
Thank you.
I am and have been thinking about starting to groom dogs and start a small business to supplement while I finish up my senior year of college and while I begin my career. This is something I am passionate about and would love to do for the rest of my life as an art and for my own enjoyment. I have worked in the veterinary field as a tech for 5 years. I have watched many of your videos and am about to take the plunged and am currently searching for and ordering the products I need. What is the best way to learn? Is it worth it to pay for something like learn2groomdogs ?? I have your videos and I also have a line of people willing to let me groom their dogs for practice.
Jennifer Vasquez you definitely need basic dog grooming knowledge before attempting to work with a dog. I recommend the virtual learning offered by the paragon school of grooming.
What coat type/breed should you not use conditioner on
What is your standard timing and pricing for something like this?
Jesus ive been trying to watch this video all day if itaint sadie being abad girl today or kids for medical crap to fill out or supper to fix its something else
Sadie tore up my favorite migraine heating pad those who have migraines a lot knows how mad i am
What type of brush would you recommend? I have a goldendoodle puppy and we bought her a brush but it's not a great one. I think it kind of hurts her. Help!
How long does it take you to for this groom from start to finish.
for at home it SHOULD take about 2-3 hours
As a dog owner my Anxiety is on 10 when she has been at the groomer an hour plus. Maybe I need some therapy instead of my dog lol.
I'm not trying to be rude ,but I just groomed and shihtzu and yorkie in less than that time... I hope you charged 300$ for that guy.😘
