- Hey there!
today on genshin impact, we ONCE AGAIN try to build a support character full dps. of course- while getting only dogwater aka canned-ass artifacts (i didn't even include artifact farming in this one, ended up giving her yelan's set :X)
it's that time of the year again where I simp SO hard for a character that I throw everything I have at the banner trying to get C6, sometimes we get lucky- sometimes we don't! what is it this time? you'll see c:
seriously love the character design though and I always find it such a shame when characters like Candace or Shenhe are.. meant to be off-field? I can't even enjoy their voicelines/moves/looks because you just press burst and that's it :( so I wanted to make her useful being on the field permanently!
ALSO! I got the aranara world quest on the 2nd channel- it's fully uploaded and ready to go LMAO. I hope it'll be good! the audio is a bit quiet but I'll post it very soon!

fun fact, from what me and my friends have researched, candace is actually what she should be called, as the original, not romanized version (kandake) is actually not a name and is only a title that means something along the lines of “queen mother” which in matrilineal succession just means that she would be the mother of, well, the queen! “candace” is a result of latinization of the title and actually can be used as a name, unlike kandake, which is basically just calling someone The Queen’s Mom

Kandake can still be a name, since the "Kuh" sound comes from the Greek form of Candace which appears in the Bible.
@@RednasYo its spelled “candace” but should be pronounced kandake Id recommend doing research on your own and search up her origins since whats shes based off of is very interesting
@@vexarcade7168 this specific character is pronounced can-diss, as shown in game. You can pronounce it can-diss while also understanding where the name comes from.

Candace is so stunning! I'm having a lot of fun using her as a main DPS as of now, gave her the Homa and everything. Glad you enjoy her too :D

@@RednasYo I've also tried building her as a DPS and i feel the same way. Her E is really good actually but burst is meh
i tried some 4pc glad on her since its nice for her burst, its fun but im not sure if its conventional tbh lol
@@RednasYo Yes, sadly. But I had my expectations low for 4 stars already since I have experience using Thoma and Kuki as DPS', so I'm not disappointed :P
It's just fun running around with her and playing her for a bit until the next character catches my eye methinks
14:02 EXACTLY EXACTLY LIKE WTF they make these characters so well and then they put them on support mode. It's sad that i rarely get to see a Kujou Sara, Shinobu, Yunjin or even Candace (from these past few days whenever i co oped i did see Candace but they would switch her with someone else :(. )
Even worse is when they make them direct downgrades of existing characters. Candace is just worse Yun Jin.
And Shenhe. Monstrous strength in lore, in gameplay, she's a cryo buffer...

This is probably very obvious but I'm sensing a type with rednasyo. Tall, beautiful, badass woman in positions of power. Nigguaung, yelan and Candace.
Rednas is the only genshin content creator i feel excited to watch since his commentary videos are satisfying and the edit is clean❤️

the good thing about candace is that her normal attacks are abnormally high compared to a lot of 5* dps. she has high multipliers than hu tao surprisingly
Yes but if you build her for normal attack damage you run into issues of split scaling since her normals require you to build atk while the rest of her damage is all hp scaling. You only have a limited number of artifact stat rolls to work with. It is the reason it is hard to get any real use out of Xinyan as well unless you ignore half her kit.
Candace has a 5* design but a 3* kit. She is better than Dori at least.
You are LITTERALLY my favorite UA-camr. I usually put you’re exploration videos on in the background and they are PERFECT, and I love watching your shorter videos, they make my day more often then I’d like to admit 😅

I logged in, got cyno and candance, then left. but I decided to watch this one because the title is hilarious LMAOO, and now I'm considering playing genshin again, because you make the game seem like so much fun and I'm glad I watched this video because it was great :D So thank you, and hydro rosaria sounds super fun!

I have a cracked theory that to do well with her you could do a Freeze team . She could be the one with the freeze artifacts. Since her autos are pretty good
i think only her e and her burst buff scales of hp. and leveling up burst does not affect her auto attacks after using her burst. so i leveled up her normal atk maxed, her elemental skill and burst are lvl 6. also while using elemental burst you must make sure her burst does not touch enemy because it erases the pyro if you are using her on a vape team. i use her with xiangling bennett sucrose and she makes great amount of normal atk hydro damage!! shes really fun on field dps for me!

her normal attacks actually scale off of atk, that’s why they weren’t dealing a lot of damage with an hp build, if you’re building her as a dps it’s better to go for atk instead of hp :)
but the scaling from her burst is hp no?
@@RednasYo her E skill and burst’s dmg (which is the dmg dealt upon activation and the wave dmg triggered by switching characters while her burst buff is active) scale off of her HP.
The elemental normal attack buff her burst gives is a static 20% DMG bonus to those attacks.
If she is used as an on-field normal attacker an attack sands with crit and HP% sub-stats is better.

Your interest in a character that's sadly designed to be off field is relatable, but for me that character is Xingqiu. He was the first character I wanted to "main", though I didn't end up getting him until months after I started playing, and from the Starglitter shop no less. I played around and enjoyed him the first couple of days after that, but it felt like a waste to have him on field when some other dps could be there. My enthusiasm died off a bit. Kujou Sara was also another character I had wanted to main since her silhouette debuted in Kazuha's flashback, but had trouble with due to how her kit is designed (more support oriented).
Candace is really nice :D I'm getting to dust off my dreams of being a Xingqiu main ehe. Even Sara, thanks to 4 pc Deepwood, has found a active place in my Tighnari & Fischl team.
I wonder if leveling Candace's autos, or giving her a 4 pc Heart of Depths set might help her get her autos up. Her autos i would guess scale on Attack? So maybe a hybrid build might get you to what you want? I don't know exactly how she works, but in any case-- I wish you luck in your Candace endeavors!

Her burst(and second ascencion passive) 1boosts elemental damage done by normal attacks, not NA damage. So yes, she can boost yoimiya, but only during her skill. Its probably so characters do some damage during her burst.
Also her burst only lasts for a very short time on c0, which sucks. But i dont want to try and get c1, because i need those primos for albedo.
Yea, she is basically a more restrictive (and worse) Yun Jin. Though you could use them both to buff Ayato. Not that it would really be an upgrade over his existing team comps.

Use Candace burst, couple hydro swings with diluc, then use his E for the vaporize
