i wanted to do "cyYES to thundering fury and cyNO to gilded dreams" but apprently that meme has been done a MILLION times- so i scratched it
also the thumbnail is a reference to dealer luigi from the mario party on the ds!! idk if you recognized it, what a banger that was woah..
anyways!! today I had not a lot of energy but still wanted to make something for you guys, decided to go with the cyno building video! i accidentally do spoil a few things about future videos but oh well-
got lots of cool things prepared, kinda waiting for the next stream to know if more sumeru comes out- then I can:
record the sumeru explore
record the big desert world quest
make a new minecraft part
start a NEW series on a SUPER CUTE game
and i'm still waiting on better internet to make the stream even more exciting as well as be able to start hte fridays/sundays with rednasyo series!

Your farming vids are probably among my favourites (though all of your videos are amazing). Unlike other content creators who mainly focus on the character’s damage and meta capabilities, your videos perfectly encapsulate the struggles and triumphs of farming. For me that is way more entertaining :D

You weren't hitting numbers as big with gilded dreams set cause the vishap wasn't in quickened state (which is dendro + electro, the green lighting aura on enemy model indicates it), hydro removed it so cyno was doing unbuffed electro damage, and his biggest personal damage comes from aggravate reaction, which is hitting enemy in quickened state with electro

Fun fact, the dendro set can be useful on non-dendro characters! It can be used on supports to shred dendro res, and then your dendro carry can use another set like gilded dreams. I've been saving all the HP% I get so Nahida can use Gilded :)

With Hydro in the party, you are removing the Quickened state and therefore any aggravates, that's why Gilded seemed worse.
His gilded set does give better stats but he would need as much as 40% more ER in order to burst on CD. The Extra energy from the skill CD reduction from TF matters a lot. It also significantly improves his over all damage in AOE combat. TF does require a much tighter rotation to get the most out of it though.
I agree that he should try an aggravate comp though.

im an watcher who has been watching since the beidou mains vid and like. watching your farming / exploration videos are so wonderful. you have such a nice and soothing voice, similar garbage artifact luck, and a very casual tone that makes it feel like im chilling with the lads, which has been very nice for when i draw / work / do chores. there's so many wonderful moments with your editing skills ( your transitions are godlike ), that i often watch the video itself instead of using it for bg audio like i do with a lot of videos on yt.
anyways, i always love watching and thoroughly enjoy all the vids 💖

With Thundering Fury you get to spam he E more often while still getting the E on time when the eye shows up, so I think this set is more fun.
I got Cyno's c1 by accident and now I probably won't get Nilou. :(

Really glad to see you’re having fun with Cyno!! Hes not one of my strongest characters but I’m playing him on my friendship team and enemies do be dying so I’m happy with that even if he doesn’t have massive numbers (yet!)

hi hi! the difference in numbers between builds was actually because of your team comps!
the big 20k was aggravate damage, which you can think of kind of like vaporize - a kind of dendro aura has to be on the enemy for it to work (like vaporize needs hydro/pyro). with yelan AND xingqiu there was so much hydro that the dendro couldn't keep up.
try the gilded dreams build again with like... cyno, lumine, zhongli, egg, I bet it'll do more than 20k fr

@@tirthavegda4136 Hi! Both work, or even 2p 2p sets. Personally I’m aiming to get my Cyno on 4p gilded since it’s a bit more forgiving if that makes sense? 4p tf CAN do more damage if you play perfectly, but I don’t always trust myself to play perfectly
fr tho 2p sets with electro damage, atk%, EM, and even ER% can be very nice for him if they have good substats. I’d say keeping the quicken aura/reaction active at all times >>> any 4p set bonus

I'm convinced Hoyo set the RNG on that domain to "utter trash" and left it there. I have a temporary 2pc glad 2pc noblesse set on Collei that she may end up keeping because the dendro artis have been so bad. Doesn't help her temp set rolled really well, but still... ugh! I keep throwing resin at it anyways hoping to get something worth rolling in the dps set but at this rate whatever finally makes it past copium is probably gonna go on Alhaitham because I can see it taking that long to put anything useful together. x.x

cyno's crit on your gilded set is perfect actually, and em on thundering is too low. his burst damage gets bonuses from em. i think both atk and em are important but idk which is more important actually, but i've been prioritizing em over atk myself. your build for him is really good!! that circlet is godly. i think he will help you do really well in harder content :3 look forward to seeing you using him in future videos! gilded and thundering are really close in how good they are on him, the important thing is which one gives you better pieces

Hi! Wanted to note: cyno with yelan/waterdude can’t do aggravate reaction (dendro+electro) because water eats plant from the enemy and plant grow big (dendro cores), and Cyno needs that aggravate (esp when you swapped to Gilded, it’s all about em which you didn’t end up using at all)
So yeah, I’d suggest Cyno+dendro plus maybe an anemo character, zhongli or another electro character (i personally chose kuki, i like her a lot)
But still, that was a heads up about the damage and all, but all minmaxing aside - love your content! like seeing you bringing life into pretty animated pixels :)
i think you actually can still proc aggravate because iirc activating quicken places sort of an aura on the enemy and that aura doesn't instantly go away when you apply bloom? I'm not sure though
oh but having BOTH xingqiu and yelan seems to be way too much though
I just wanna appreciate the fact that this is kinda a lesson for artifacts, I’m still new-ish too the game and haven’t really understood how to build an ATK character but this helps me a lot knowing what I have to find and what I should be looking for on an artifact 🦆

About your Cyno build, he would deal bigger damage if you put him into an aggravate team and change his sand into an EM main stats since the weapon he has (the Primodial Jade Winged-Spear) provided him with enough attack, many of his passives will also buff him by the amount of EM he has, hope this help you build him easier.
P.S: it's okay to build him however you like as long as you have fun. Your contents are the top most enjoyable ones, I am hoping to see your new vids.

also!! if you’re really looking to maximize your damage for Cyno, since he’s designed to be an aggravate DPS i would personally recommend running him with that thundering fury set in a team with Dendro Lumine (on 4pc deepwood dendro shred), Zhongli (for electro+dendro shred + shields), and then another dendro or electro character! Cyno is a very greedy on-field DPS (his burst can last up to 18 seconds) so you just want to make sure that last character in the team has a long enough skill/burst to support him during his burst! But of course this is all just a recommendation for min/maxing at the end of the day just make sure you’re having fun with him!! ((also i can’t wait to see a vid on Nilou 👀))
ehh 4 noblesse or instructor might be better in lumine, shes the only dendro in the team
@@kawaiilone oh yeah both of those sets are def viable!! but deepwood can still be good since it’ll buff her dendro dmg and shred enemies’ res for dendro - especially if that last slot in the team is filled by another dendro character since Lumine/Aether are prob the most optimal character to use the set as of 3.1 since they have a lower skill cooldown + better burst uptime than Collei and Tighnari is meant to be more of a Spread DPS and run Gilded Dreams/Wanderers Troupe :)

well built Cyno can definitely carry you through abyss! My Cyno is actually pretty good and I beat floor 12 for the first time with him! it was kinda weird though because it was the first time I hadn't relied on Xiao in abyss 😅 (he was overrun by my mono-geo team LOL)

i love the way you do these farming videos, is always so fun and entertainig
1. dendro set almost always requries er/em/em or em/em/em for dendro characters (who use the dendro set) but it can be flexible for a specific character (for ex: sayu can use atk/atk/healing bonus on the dendro set for maximum healing)
2. thunder soother is one of cyno’s best sets after glided dreams and thundering fury. esp with mono electro teams since the dendro supports we have are bad, thundering soother is one of the best dps sets for him; making the thunder soother and thundering fury domain one of the more resin efficient sets.
3. cyno wants to be atk/electro/crit when he has a high base attack weapon like the primordial jade spear. if he has his best in slot, he wants the em/electro/crit
