Performed by Mariinsky Ballet (Kirov Ballet) in October 1993 at Mariinsky Theater in St Petersburg. 1993年10月のマリインスキー劇場バレエ(キーロフバレエ)によるくるみ割り人形の中の、花のワルツです。
I saw the nutcracker six years ago with my mother, now she’s no longer here, but when listening to this waltz I’ll always feel she’s with me! Thank you so much for uploading this masterpiece! Spasiva
I will never forget my first join to ballet performance in pink /green tutu, danced to this. I was eight. yeah I remember how it was twinkling on stage, though it's 12 years ago, still love this music. Merry Christmas !!
this is amazing...its so beautiful...my favorite production of waltz of the flowers by far...everythign from the musicality to the stage and costumes is wonderful...100 stars!!!
Sorry but Pearls can not be thrown to PIGS. USA not Americans, because America is a Huge continent most of the countries are Spanish speaking countries. The USA assholes are only a minor part of America you Dumb Moron.
I danced in ballet and jazz up until the age of 12 but I packed it in because I was starting High School and I feared it would take up study time but I loved dancing. I've done a few stage performances including Waltz of the Flowers. I love this music and funnily enough I can remember the choreography but wouldn't be able to do it as good now! I do Zumba dancing now heheh
I wonder if Tchaikovsky could have envisioned that 100 years after he composed this beautiful ballet, hundreds of productions of it would still be dancing to his immortal music every holiday season all over the world (and esp. in the USA). I think he would be dumbfounded but very pleased at its overwhelming success. Thank you Mr. T for this musical beauty, for making people forget their troubles for a few hours, and for keeping many a ballet company floating.
I went to ballet classes when I was 5 or 6 years old for about one year and loved it. I thought I would be a bellerina, but my parents didn't took me no more cuz I was going to school. We used to dance to this when it was Christmas. I had red ballet shoes and a white tutu. Now I am 24 and depressed cuz I will never be a ballerina. I adore ballet and can't dance. I am soooo sad...
@CvilleDancer I'm sorry I didn't word it very well! My point is that their feet have to be very strong and I have seen my friends (who do ballet) come behind stage crying because their feet hurt so much, yet they have to go on! It's amazing how a person can have so much will when underneath their beautiful dances and elegance their feet are in so much pain! Anyway, as I was saying, I love ballet it's so beeeeautiful! :D
Lovely - the music means so much more with the ballet! It was my dream to dance with the Royal Winnipeg Ballet! But only the best get there! Still do my barre exercises tho!
Thank u! I shall search a ballet teacher who will want to teach me (maybe I'll find my first one). I have been taken latino dance classes for about 2 years now and I was about to quit because the price is to much in this troubeled times...and I read your message and because of it I will continue to dance...what is money, afterall! I will dance a rumba especially for u!
@burtv1610 sometimes when i see people say that classical music is boring, i wonder if they have really listened carefully to all the blood, sweat and tears put in by the performers, or are they just looking for a rhythm. almost none of the pop stars nowadays spend hours honing their craft each day (with notable exceptions, i have heard amazing solos on the bass guitar before) but my point it is that, it is really the music that was composed and practised over years, that lasts centuries
You shouldn't give up! I love ballet but I never took classes or anything. I bet if you somehow took classes you'll be great cause you started when you were young ;) As my mum says "Go for it girl!"
Sunday the 11th December Starbucks in the Old Town - the opening scene comes alive more than ever - she is here with me writing - and her name is - Princess M
@burtv1610 well really, almost all forms of performing fine art are like that. do you hear the harp cadenza? someone spent years at the harp learning how to play the harp, and then spent many hours learning the cadenza. it requires a ton of finger muscle to do it. of course i would not presume to say that it is easier than ballet, since dance is a lot more physical tiring. but the training time used in developing the specialised muscles is probably the same.
Those men must have really strong arms and legs! And those girls must have incredibly strong feet! It's strange when you watch it and it looks so beautiful, but you know their feet don't! :c)
is the time 3/4 or 4/4? i need this for a school project to make sure i don't dance with the worst guy in my class. i REALLY need this to protect my reputation.
@burtv1610 for those who say that classical music is "all the same"... i find that laughable because we study music theory in school, and really, an entire boatload of pop songs follow the SAME harmonic progressions. no offence to my own culture, but chinese pop songs tend to do that a lot. if you know how to play one of them, chances are it's easy for you to play the others. now could you really say the same for classical music? not to mention that the dynamic range of pop is really small
@TeamKatniss4Ever If you don't know the difference between a waltz in 3/4 and Rock around the Clock in 4/4, your reputation is the least you have to worry about.

Epic blend of dance and music. An example of mans greatest artistic achievement.
Beautiful, just beautiful.... The music and the dancing working together in perfect harmony. I´d love to see this live.
nothing more beautiful and the music is just, well, the best. Tchaikovsky was a genius.
I love this version both male and female dancers together actually Waltzing. Not like the newer versions that show just the girls dancing
Хочется слушать и смотреть ,ни о чем не думать-просто наслаждаться красотой,,,..
The music is magical, and the ballet simply dreamy. Makes me feel like I'm floating on a bubble.
Ademas de hermoso y bello es sumamente ROMANTICO 😍😘👋👋👋
