Notching to attempt to making queen cells

I’m attempting to make Queens by using the method notching I’m using it in this apimae hive with a divider board in to attempt to make two new queens. While I was attempting to relocate the queen, she decided to go on a flying mission. #BeekeepingHashtagQueenWearing.

That is very similar to Gus Mitchel's flyback splits. In my experience it works very well.
I had 2 queens fly away on my in my first year only 1 made it back to a hive on her own.

A lot of times, they go land on another hive and the bees kill them.

I hope it works out for you. I had one of my queens fly off the other day I hope she has flown back into the hive. I will be checking this weekend to see if she came back or not great video my friend.
