Yeah, I see the discrepancies in time. Frankly, I don't know where my memory is failing. Either it was Zeppelin and not the Birds, or it was a few years earlier. I just recall leaning up against the stage and watching Page play. Wonderful in such a small venue.

being a late fan of Pink Floyd. I consider myself lucky because music these days cannot touch the heart like this. Pink Floyd music blows my mind with Time, comfortably numb, dogs, pigs, wish you were here, soycd...
HeyoJoseph point would be that back in the time, when people exchanged copies of bootlegs with each other, then some where actually rare and some where common. It by definition stopped being rare when its published/shared on youtobe. Then to claim that a professionally made copy is rare when its released for sales and then copied up on youtube?
Golden silence at 4:59 - 5:01. "music is the silence between the notes." I agree with poster, this is his best solo. I've been listening to this bootleg for 25 years. Thanks for posting.
This is amazing. I have been trying to find live footage of DSOTM, but this is better to hear the early version of what became one of my favorite songs
This was in '72, so dark side hadn't even come out yet. They were still experimenting with this song and their sound overall so before you call it lazy and unenthusiastic actually get an understanding of what you're talking about.
sounds like they were FUCKED up, missed lyrics, jumpin around the song!!! but i ain't puttin them down, just sayin, besides, in my opinion, i think the best music being played live is when they're tore down, same with hendrix and Page. get them trashed and it's the best shit you'll ever hear, those guys were Genius.. it's just sad that musical talent only existed in the 70's and 80's. after that, it's all garbag, computer aided crap thats manufactured to sound 100% perfect and the industries are only concerned with selling the image, like beiberbitch and miley NO talent, just an image. it's sad, back in the day it was all about the music, not yer looks, today it's just the opposite.
Its a cut Demo, so it is not complete. They prob fucked up, so a lot was taken out to make it fit into a bootleg size of so many minutes. Maybe for the better? who knows. The rest of the album is like that also. Only one verse then jumps.
Holy, you're omnipresent!!! i've seen you like 1 year ago commenting a Frank Zappa song, then, in something pretty weird and now, in something Pink Floyd made, tell me your favorite bands please, your taste in music is magnificent. Good Luck.
I saw Pink Floyd in the early sixties like most of you never seen them. The original lineup playing in a small cafe in Brussels Belgium for food and wine. They were the nicest guys around and the music was great. I saw them again twice later at the Theater 140 in Brussels Belgium again after the fame came and they were still the same bunch with great music. To bad that the bunch fell apart. The music will live for a long time after there gone.

God I love dave. Thank you for touching my soul with your music. Roger is ok too ...
headphones recommended :o
What a deep, haunting rendition of _Time_. This may be one of my favourite alternate takes on any song ever. Cheers!
Rolling Stones Under My Thumb live from Altamont is similar... Sounds like a tape player with dying batteries.
muito denso, pura metafísica, pura psicodelia... muito bom
Floyd fans grammatically correct, well spoken / written, polite well mannered.. Don't know what they were going for but a long standing favorite of mine 🎶
I think this version must be previous to the dark side record
being a late fan of Pink Floyd. I consider myself lucky because music these days cannot touch the heart like this. Pink Floyd music blows my mind with Time, comfortably numb, dogs, pigs, wish you were here, soycd...
How rare is something posted on UA-cam?
depends the context and the content, like this one is an un unusual version of "time" a little hard to find
medium
HeyoJoseph point would be that back in the time, when people exchanged copies of bootlegs with each other, then some where actually rare and some where common. It by definition stopped being rare when its published/shared on youtobe. Then to claim that a professionally made copy is rare when its released for sales and then copied up on youtube?
perkalov
Without YT you probably never would have heard this song, right? Unless, you are a huge Floyd fan. That's why it's rare, dude.
Thx for the post.
Thank u to Pink Floyd...for giving us this gift! Awesome.
Alguém ouvindo em 2019?
pink floyd será ouvido sempre!
Before UA-cam, these were the things I used to just read about. Thanks for posting!
To Hodgo BHO,
"awww, the lad reckons himself a poet! Rubbish, absolute rubbish! "
+Eric Bignell yep, that's what they said to Roger all them years ago ;) haha
+Eric Bignell "I'm alright Jack, keep your hands off my stack"!!
Golden silence at 4:59 - 5:01.
"music is the silence between the notes."
I agree with poster, this is his best solo. I've been listening to this bootleg for 25 years. Thanks for posting.
speed up to 1.25x and enjoy ;)
+Nedeljko Kovacevic Good for you
This is amazing. I have been trying to find live footage of DSOTM, but this is better to hear the early version of what became one of my favorite songs
The vocals in this live performance are so underwhelming that I almost laughed at 3:55.
Baby I don't care
Baby, I care and agree with you utterly appalling and I don't think it's just the bad recording.
You tell me what was so good about the 80's ...... Disco crap!!! The Smiths maybe and 'The Wall' nothing else... the 80's where dead!!! (IMO)
Good Luck.
it is perfectly played. Monster solo.
Thank You For Taking The TIME To Post This One
I saw Pink Floyd in the early sixties like most of you never seen them. The original lineup playing in a small cafe in Brussels Belgium for food and wine. They were the nicest guys around and the music was great. I saw them again twice later at the Theater 140 in Brussels Belgium again after the fame came and they were still the same bunch with great music. To bad that the bunch fell apart. The music will live for a long time after there gone.
Such a beautiful Gem! Seen The Floyd 3 times, seen Waters the wall live, seeng Gilmour live in four days Chicago! Would love to have seen this era live!
