+Lord Ringozinglyzong Productions Dragon Stop Motion, Adobe CC, and VirtualDub. We shoot at 12fps on these.

How are you getting that close to the lego figures and still getting the frames so clear is it a different tipe of lense?
That's probably my 18-35mm. Good focus set and shooting in hi-res will allow you to crop in pretty close.
