    Very nicely put. I think the greatest threat to Christendom at times is within Christendom. There is such a lack of good teaching and faith. One thing the Lord has shown me over many decades.
    I, myself make no claims that I understand the full Word of God. I don’t fully understand the Godhead/Trinity, I don’t fully understand how we can walk in victory because of what Jesus did upon the cross. I don’t fully understand that by His stripes we are healed or all of His promises towards us.
    I don’t fully understand how the power of God works through a believer when they lay hands on the sick. I don’t fully understand how the devil must flee when we resist him and I don’t fully understand how if a believer picks up anything deadly it will by no means harm him.
    I don’t have to fully understand any of it, because my human mind was never designed to. My intellect was not designed to. People like to tare down and break into segments the Word of God. They think that if they can understand or learn Hebrew or Greek or even both, they will understand it fully. They try to reason the Word out with their human wisdom, their so-called intellect. Our intellect is inferior to God's ways.
    This is the very purpose of faith. Our reasoning says we must be able to dissect the information from God's Word and find the answers. Whereas our faith is like a switch, it is either on or off. There is no reasoning with faith. If the Word of God says something is so, then it is. No questions asked, no debating, no investigating whether or not it is possible. If the Word says something is so, then it is, this is faith switched on. Having to reason the Word with our intellect is faith switched off.
    Some will say, well they were not given us much faith as someone else. That isn’t true. They may think that or feel that only because they haven’t been feeding their inner man so their faith is weak. Without reading the promises of God on a regular basis, our inner-man our spirit will not grow strong. If our spirit does not grow strong, then our faith becomes weak and our flesh takes over.
    There is a constant battle fort within us for control of our thinking. Our flesh and our spirit battle it out not sometimes but every minute of every hour the war rages on it is never relenting. We may think because we spent so much time in the Word yesterday that we can cruise or do other important things today. It won’t matter because we did so much in the Word yesterday, wrong, the battle never ceases, our guys, which comprises of our spirit and faith need a constant supply chain of backup.
    What is their backup? The Word of God, the promises of who you are in Christ, the confessions of what God has said we are what He has given us and what we are to do with those promises. Today's faith, today's feeding of the Word, will not keep us tomorrow. We need each day to start afresh and exercise our faith today for today. So don’t worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
    There are no holidays we don’t have that luxury. We must keep our supply chains up and that entails reading and listening to the Word of God every day, claiming the promises of God and taking by faith the Word of God. I don’t have to understand the Word, if it says I am or I can or I have then it is so. I have turned my faith switch to on and my intellect off when it comes to the promises of God.
    Rod, I love the way you are living your faith walk. You remind me of something that is lacking greatly in Christianity today, Someone who acts on the promises of God and not what the world teaches. Bless you, Rod, in Jesus' name.

    Thank you for showing what the new agers believe and do. Born again Spirit filled believers who confess and believe God’s word and trust God by the Holy Spirit to bring his word to pass in their lives should not be compared to those in the new age movement and what they believe and do. For those who have listened to this and now know the truth if you continue to say these are the same thing God will judge, because you know the truth and say otherwise. That is what the Pharisees of Jesus day did, and you know what Jesus said about them and pronounced upon them.

      I used to believe in atheists. Now I believe they're ALL just disgruntled agnostics. Its just a lot more direct to call them atheists. Seems to get their attention more than trying to explain to them all the reasons theyre really agnostics.

    Could you please clarify on the yoga thing? As Christians, what should constitute as a godly approach to exercising and keeping our bodies fit, especially knowing that our body is the temple of God?

    • @MochaZilla

      @@kamon830 meditation in the Christian sense is good. We are called the meditate. But Christian meditation means to ponder or ruminate on God's word.
      Satanic meditation is what yoga and other eastern philosophies practice and theirs is evil and wrong because it involves emptying their minds of everything. Quite literally the opposite of Christian meditation.
      Which one did you do?

    • @thetruthchannel349
      @thetruthchannel349 2 роки тому +4

      I view the yoga exercise thing the same way I view the early church problem with eating meats sacrificed to idols. When Im doing yoga stretches Im not thinking about chakras, Im not meditating on Vishnu, Im not doing any of that. Im simply thinking 'Dear God when will this be over?' Its YOUR body. Your ability to move, to be, to do? That all comes from God. Your body is blessed. It is sanctified. If doing yoga stretches help you? Do them. Worship is not a construct of what you do with your body. It is the MOTIVE. Its WHY you're doing it. If you're doing it to commune with ancient gods and to activate mystical energy? Ya, you're sinning. If you're doing it for exercise purposes and because it helps you feel better? You're not. Its that simple.
