I’m glad you made it up to the top! I’ve done that hike and it’s definitely not a cake walk. The views from the top are well worth the effort. You should head to Monterey/Carmel/Big Sur/Point Lobos State Natural Reserve. Super beautiful part of the state. There’s also Lassen Volcanic National Park and Redwood National and State Parks.
