I have all secret wrestlers and have gold for some but grinding that feels tedious now. Definitely still wish we have more matches and arenas for free
If you like the graphics that's fine my problem is that they could've done an art style and really make the game pop with it's obvious arcade gameplay to back it up but instead we've got what looks like an early PS3 game where it's basically just a PS2 game but SHINY which considering this is Yukes and THQNordic I would've though they'd evolve from their SvR days but instead they've just done an asset swap for 2K14 but they bumped the physics to be halfway there to All Stars

Better to wait for sale. This game lacks heavily on the content department. There’s no reason why smackdown 2 on ps1 has more match types than a wrestling game in 2023.

I think me and my brother are going to love playing this agaisnt one another but in terms of my enjoyment of playing out booked match cards, etc, 2K is still gonna be the way to go.

It's an okay game but it definitely should have been better there is a facade of a creative, it's controls lead to very similar matches every time the mini games suck the game was ultimately a miss but there is a foundation they could build on

I can't get with this one. I had high hopes for this AEW game and I feel disappointed and it's not even out yet. I think 1-2 more yrs of 2k is the way to go until AEW gets their stuff together
Of course it’s gonna be 10x better than 2K’s boring simulation and micro transaction clear pay to win cash grab. Not a yearly release they can keep doing patches and updates and match types. Not to mention their in game shop system with updated models and attires is something we’ve asked 2K for that they never delivered as they only relied on CC to do everything they should be doing. Not to mention played 2K23 4 times put it down and never touched it again that wasn’t worth the price fool me once though 2K isn’t gonna change they’re as bad as Activision is for Call Of Duty.
Heres the difference. WWE 2k games are made to put on good matches. Thats why universe mode is such a popular mode. The game is all about simulation. While Aews game is a whole different boat, it's not about simulation its not about putting on a good quality match. Its to have a fun fight.

7.5 out of 10. With friends is a blast. Lights out matches is where its at. Even th A.I plays great in those matches. The A.I is much better than 2k23. That engine is so old and boring. AEW is a breath of fresh air. If they keep adding content and patches it will just get better. Cant wait for stadium stampede.
Look I love AEW but why is it 60 bucks I get new game and what not BUT if they were really trying to compete against WWE you would think it would be cheaper
