Bruhh 2 hours extra for 30min more battery time and no background task is insane 😂😂
🤣
iqoo 12 has a feature in which u have to enable its fast charging from the settings otherwise it doesnt charge at full potential
hey ash, great test I wish you'd have checked the temperatures as well, would've helped reduce the fast charging anxiety!
Your S23U seems to only be running on SFC 1.0 not 2.0 , you can view it when you started up the phone , its clearly not 2.0
It looks like the fast charging in s22 ultra doesn't kick in until it reaches 50% which very weird since technically it should do the opposite to both reduce battery dmg by heat as well as take advantage of fast charging when in a pinch. It's funny to watch a 25w charger catch up closely with a 45w one , the difference should be atleast 20-25% but i'm guessing this is because the latter has a larger battery capacity.
I had my money on Xiaomi, I have the Xiaomi 13T pro, it has the same 120w charging, 19 minutes advertised comparted to 18 minutes advertised for the 14 pro. Anyway 13T pro goes from 20% to 98% in 13 minutes in my situation so I knew it's gonna score good. It's very important to keep the screen closed all the time, no always on display or what was done in this test.
How's your experience with Xiaomi 13T pro? I'm little bit confused between OnePlus 11 And Xiaomi 13t pro. Currently I'm using OnePlus 10 Pro
@@cuthero5834 Oneplus 10 pro is still a quite good phone, I don't think you'll notice a performance improvment, wait at least for oneplus 12 or xiaomi 14. I bought the 13T pro as I really needed 1 TB storage and going crazy witrh my old poco f2 pro who only had 256 gb, and Oneplus 11 doesn't offer a 1 tb global version. My experience has been stable, great performance, main camera and storage for a low price. I don't miss wireless charging as wired charging is so fast. I do wish it had a better ultrawide camera and a periscope camera, I could have got the 13 ultra, but it's global version only had 512 gb, I needed more the storage than the ultrawide and periscope cameras. 13t pro still has a reasonable ultrawide and a 2x zoom 50mp camera, but not in the same class with the ultra, altough a lot cheaper.
I'm definitely not buying Google or Samsung here in the USA. Which Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 phone do y'all recommend? I was looking to get the IQOO 12, but which phone has the best of everything?
@@cuthero5834 I would say just wait for the OnePlus 12 to go global. I have seen a lot of reviews and most of them are praising it.
@@KingKpop Probably the most complete phone will be Xiaomi 14 Ultra, but it will arrive globally maybe by the summer, who knows. Oppo Find X7 Ultra should be a beast with everything included too and will arrive much quicker, not sure however about global. Iqoo 12 is nice, but iqoo 12 pro is nicer with ip68 water protection, altough I don't think iqoo 12 will ever arrive in USA oficially. Xiaomi 14 pro won;t arrive globally but the regular Xiaomi 14 will, likely soon, just regular screen instead of their Longjin nail beating glass. OnePlus 12 is a nice phone that will likely release soon, just no ip68. And there's the Mediatek 9300 beast, Vivo X100 Pro that will likely arrive globally and it has some of the best cameras. You should look up OnePlus Open too, it's on Snap 8 gen 2 but it's a impressive phone, probably the first nice foldable.
What charger did you use for the s23. Don't think it's running super fast charging 2.0
This video and the previous one really increased my interest in the Oneplus 12, since it had a very respectable battery in the drainGe test, and placed at the top in this test as opposed to the iPhone which was at the bottom. The time I really need a long lasting battery is at a zoo, or at a museum where I am taking many pictures and a long lasting battery is extremely important, that being said having a quick charge is just as important, allowing me to quickly recharge my phone and continue. The security didn't seem to like me charging my phone in one place for more than fifteen minutes at the last museum I visited. We have to also consider the prices of the competing phones.
Both Iphone and Samsung are still using lithium-Ion batteries but others have already switched to lithium polymer. That is why they could reach a very higher charging speed. Which battery type is better? It is still controversial.
Maybe you can make a video and elaborate on them .
Why your iqoo 12 charging speed slow it should around 26minute mark from 0 to 100%, are you already enable fast charging mode in battery setting, because default is disabled
Can't wait for the Ultimte speed and benchmark test! I'd love it if u could use the same brand for the most part tho. Too keep ut as fair as possible. Like Xiaomi 14 pro vs 13 pro vs 13T pro vs Vivo X100 pro vs Poco X6 pro vs S24 Ultra SD vs S24 Ultra Exynos vs Pixel 8 pro vs Iphone 15 pro max. Itd be nice, rly.
Two of the best devices in the USA are the slowest charging devices. 😂
that just goes to show people are more into the brand name then anything else, most people dont care for specs and things, they just like the thought that they have an iphone or samsung, to show that they have money, at least in the U.S. thats how it is.
I don't why but my iqoo 12 charges from 0 to 100 in 26-27 min most of time... Although there is option to I saw as fast charging I enabled that
Should have calculated the time taken to charge according to the battery mah per 5 min avg to charge completely
Yes please do continue to make these kind of content
Hey ash, big fan. I'll be going with one plus 12, I just wanted to know is the iqoo 12 camera far better than one Plus 12 or negligible difference? Should I go with Vivo 100 base varient instead or stick with one plus 12
Where are you from?
At what class are you reading?
Think lithium ion or polymer should be noted. Ion batteries charge slower because it preserves longevity in battery unlike polymer which degrades sooner even if it charges faster. Rather slower is fine but longevity is more important I think.
You can replace battery after 3 years and keep using it . Although li-ion batteries can take more charge cycle. You can just use a slower charging speed on li-po batteries and have that fast charging option when you have a time crunch.best of both world .
It doesn't matter.
then by that logic the PROMISED BATTERY CHARGE CYCLE should be mentioned, which is way higher for companies that give fast charging and companies like Apple and Samsung even with slower charging don't promise higher charge cycle.
@@MarcSpctrthose charging cycles that you are talking about are actually rated at 15w not 100w so the actual charging cycle is around the same as apple and samsung
Apple biased, anyways that charge gonna hold up the most so idk the ratio of charging and charge draining sums up
Loving the hardwork and dedication 💪💪😀
Hi Ash, I have some comment on the charging. Cuz most of the China phone do not comes with PD certified. When we are using Android Auto or charge with PD charger, it will be utterly slow. In the end, I find out that iPhone and Samsung are more easier to charge when it's in daily use. Instead of bringing an big brick of 120w charger which only can charge phone.
Hey Ash.. u didn’t turn on fast charging on iqoo 12 pro. It’s in the battery section of settings
iPhone's testing the patience of the UA-camrs in the these charging tests 😂
iPhone has the best battery life of any phone on the market, so it will be rare for anyone to need to charge their iphone during the day unless they forgot to charge at bedtime.
You'll still have to wait over 2 hours the next day when you do have to charge it.
@@artdogg50 You charge at bedtime and it lasts all day
@@mr.grumps3544 Nah. Motorola G54 has 6000mAh, lasts 9,5h and cost slightly over 200$
@@mr.grumps3544 Bahaha no
My neo 7 pro can get fully charged in 23-24 minutes (i think you didn't turned on fast charging option on iqoo 12 pro)
Realme GT5 Pro, wished it had network band 20 I would have bought it, has great specs for the price :)
i think battery technology need evolution with 2 batteries/multiple batteries of the total 5000 mah=2500+2500 & user should have option to charge both batteries or single one at a time if user is in urgency & not have much time he can charge one battery with fast one & charge both with slow charging when user have much more time to preserve battery longetivity & if any battery fails to supply power in that case other battery will hold the supply & phone reminds user about the another battery health
Pls make a video on your favourite handheld gaming consoles in 2023...
Some additional insights might be helpful, like how Xiaomi has the highest wattage charging but is not specifically the fastest given Oneplus completed within seconds with higher capacity battery.
How does charging speed matters at different percentages and which is safer for overall battery life span as Oneplus kept up the charging speed at higher percentages. How heated the phones got during charging.
Also which phone chargers support PD charging and at what max wattage as I have seen older OP 65W chargers supported PD charging but newer 80W chargers don't, not sure on the 100W ones.
May be In Xiaomi 14 PRO didn't enable Turbo charging option so its take time longer
I like the video sir more videos ike this and one video I want best android phone with best backup and longer update
hey ash, can we have a iqoo neo 9 (not pro) review before anyone else ??
After watching both the drain and charging test it seems that Realme GT5 Pro is the overall winner
you didnt turn on fast charging feature on iqoo 12
Have you tried charging the s23 ultra with a oneplus charger? It says superfast charging and comoletes in around 29mins
that will not work because oneplus phones are made for their chargers, so with any other device i think itll only charge at like 25W?
Bro why no either Google pixel 8 or 8 pro?
The OnePlus 12 is insane, great job Oneplus
That was a surprise...
I would like to mention that your S23 ultra can not be charging at 45w at all. It might be at 25w as I do own the device and use both 25w and 45w chargers depending on how quick I wanna charge my device if I'm in a rush or not. With 45w it should be around 70% in 30mins. But then it slows down drastically to manage heat I believe. As it takes and shows almost 20 mins from 90% to 100.
Very good job 👍
It's my request,,, please test a full review of Iqoo 12 vs Realme GT5 pro
Watching on my vivo x100 pro❤
Very great job Ash ! Congrats 👏🎉
Thought it would have been the Iqoo 12 Pro first, then the OnePlus 12, then the Vivo X100 Pro...
One thing to note is that even though Iphone and Samsung takes time to charge but there Battery backup are far better than others also battery longevity is also better than other.
But their prices are too expensive than what they offer
I wouldn't say far better bro... iPhone lasts about 1 hr more, while s23U may last 30 minutes more...
The thing is, getting to 50% in 30 minutes and 100% is much big of a gap, and it is extremely useful, if you are continually using the phone.
I wish samsung could charge the s24U within 45 minutes at the least😢
yep.... i bought my dad an op11 and i have s23 ultra. i can confirm what u said about backup is absolutely wrong and longevity maybe yes you r right.
15 pro max can easily give 1 more hour of SOT compared to any other device in this list which means that one hour extra Iphone takes to charge can be compensated but 1 more hour of SOT
I don't think that's been proven. Iphone and Samsung batteries get replaced all of the time.
That s23 is not charging at full capacity. 30 minutes or should really be over 60 percent easy. Maybe closer to 65 to 70
We would such more videos❤
Camera comparison between s23ultra and Vivo x100 pro with moon zoom shots pps
Now do a drain test on all of them
Hi, What is the best device I can buy on Aliexpress for up to 450 dollars?
Make a video about processor
Really, would like battery drain test among mid range smartphone btw 20k to 40k
S23 ULTRA you shown, is clearly charging at 25W as one can see SUPER FAST CHARGING @2% Battery (Not 2.0) , with 45W it should make a bit of difference (like 8-10 mins atleast)
Advance happy new year Ash bro :)
To you too bro
@@C4ETech thank you ash :)
Are you using super charge 2.0 ( 45w ) in Samsung
I also saw it chargin in 45 minutes.. and I thought maybe it is the temp difference
Yo Ash you even need a Xperia in the test!😂
♥️👉@C4etech please make a good video on battery types..some techie saying Li polymer is better some techie telling Li ion is better .. which is correct?
Please research on which basis Chinese brands specifically telling this battery will give this much charging cycles despite of fast charging and why apple and samsung don't have this technology?
My guess - Fastest Redmagic / slowest iPhone
I assume that all of these were charged with their stock charger. What I would love to see is all of these tested against one 100w USB PDS charger and the same cable. As you know, Europe is switching to USB-C only for charging, so how well it works with other chargers is important too!
You see almost every phone uses qualcomm quick charge or their own charging protocol like supervooc so if u use a pd charger the speeds will be average maybe 30-40w or lower depending on the cable and charger.
@@keerthan7558 I think you're right but I wish you weren't :) Now that USB PDS can hit 100w and we're using USB-C cables anyway I think it's as close to a no-brainer as you can get...
The slowest my guessing was right iPhone, Fastest bit closer vivo bro!
If anyone buying Redmagic then go RM 9 Pro Plus which has 5500mah battery but you'll get 160hz charging speed
Hai bro ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥...
2023 ku oru bye solliduga bro 😅😅😅😅..
Best mobile under 50 k 2023 apdi oru video panna nalla erukum bro 😁😁...
Super very good 👍
Plz make a video on does the one inch sensor really matters on real world.
In night time or low light, absolutly. The bigger the sensor, the more light it captures, and it can use higher ISO while avoiding granulation.
Most Chinese Brand phones fully charged 37 minutes!
I wonder why battery wears out within 2 years.
We saw half of battery drain test
Make video on iqoo Neo 9 Indian launch date and price
It was very good
We want wifi vs 5g data idle drain
My Guess: Fastest - Vivo X100 Pro/ Slowest - iPhone
Edit: Damn, that Xiaomi & OP phones were fast AF
Where is Realme GT 5 240w??
Try it with always on display off. Numbers will change. I have iqoo 9 pro and OnePlus 12. Its different in charging speeds while always on display on and off mode.
I say this as someone who just preordered a OnePlus 12, but OnePlus is a little misleading when the phone says 100%. The lighting bolt remains blue because its still charging. Then after a few minutes it turns white and thats when its actually completely done charging.
Even then for 30 minutes to charge from 0 to 100 is incredible, this is a big reason why im staying with oneplus and going for the 12. I just cant go back to the slower charging on other brands, that ability to not have to charge over night and just plug in right when you wake up in the morning, and have it be done charging when you leave for work is so nice. Also that alert slider is so helpful and something i wish other brands had on their phones. Not to mention if you like wireless charging its faster than most phones with their wired charging.
@@merc-svt9701 oh I completely agree. It changes the way you use a phone in a big way.
There have been times where I forgot to charge my phone at home. I just plug it into my 80w SuperVooc charger. By the time I get to work 25 minutes later it's fully charged.
I have a 16/512GB OnePlus 12 arriving on the first and haven't been this excited since the OnePlus 7 Pro.
Just making an observation about 100% not really meaning 100% when it's essentially in a charging competition.
Can u do dragon test
It's better if you had run the performance rather than battery.
What would you recommend:
Magic 5 pro, xiaomi 14 or oneplus 12?
Magic 6 pro or OnePlus 12
I think fast charging was not enabled in iqoo 12 because it charges in 27 mins
Someone has said in the last video that *Iphone* charging technology is of *Paleolithic* age in 21st century....😂😂😂😂
Samsung isnt using a 5a cable that allows super fast charging 2.0
I'd take Fast charging any day over slow wireless charging
Right bro atleast 65W fast charging should be minimum for flagships (even samsung/apple if we're paying a fortune to get one then that should be absolute best in all aspects not just camera in my opinion). Atleast samsung should start giving charger as an optional freebie during purchase of A/S/Z series.
@@mahidharreddy8286 thats what im saying!! I dont understand how samsung and apple are still at such a low watt charging speed. This is why i cant get away from oneplus, their charging speeds on their phones is crazy good and not to mention its one of the only china based android phones that work very well with the carriers and play store in the U.S. market.
Why I can't download this ?
The S23 Ultra was not charging at 45 Watts. It must say super fast charging 2.0.
Realme is the best value here
Won't need qi charging if fast charger is swift enough to last a day
Might consider that phone or 13T pro if price is right
Target $450 for 512gb
As good as Iphones are in his battery drain tests, I still can't get past the pedestrian charging speeds. Over 2 hours is just ridiculous in 2024.
iqoo 12 has pro variant???
Slower charging is better for the battery
It's funny how the iPhone 15 Pro Max almost always wins the battery drain test but loses on the charging test 😂😂😂
But put it differently, you can use 4-5 times more a xiaomi, even the 13t pro has that 120w charging, than the iphone. If you want to play, etc, and drain the battery in less than one day, Xiaomi rules at getting you back in action in 10-15 minutes as in real life you don't fully drain it.
Anyone could have predict by doing the the xoiami was gonna win and iphone lose...
The surprise was OnePlus
From tamil nadu ❤
My guess- Realme gt 5 pro/ iphone 15 pro max
I'm guessing OnePlus to come 1st and iPhone to be the utter failure in this lol.
Lithium ion charges slowly than lipo thats it .
OnePlus 12 vs iphone 15 plus which is better for camera and bgmi?
iPhone 15 Plus
@@abhiranjansharma nah its obviously oneplus 12
Iphone 15 plus all the way
OnePlus 12 has quality issues, go for Xiaomi 14 pro
Also what about iphone 15 plus?
That is not even in the competition,
Inferior lenses across the board
NO telephoto lense
Gaming?
15 plus is 60hz bro, that is absolutely unacceptable
what quality issues XD @@-MrEVIL-
bro does these tests really make sense in real life usge plz answer
Of course not. Still depends on the user.
yes, I used to have a Redmi phone charging with 120W then I got Flagship S23U with only 45W.
and trust me the charging speed is noticeable.
used to charge 30-40 min for my redmi, but Samsung easily takes over 1 hrs (80 approx min)
anyone who says it doesn't matter is just lying to bootlick their favorite company like Pixel, Samsung or Apple.
and give stupid reasons like it degrades battery faster and stuff.
Chinese Phones with 120W are Claiming Recharge cycle 2-2.5 times what Apple promises.
also battery degradation depends only on 1 thing, which is HEAT.
if a company is able to manage heat properly, then 120W or even 200W won't degrade battery faster, but if it doesn't manage heat properly, even a 30W charger can degrade battery.
Which used to be why before a universal standard was used, if you used any other charger other than which you got in the box, the batteries of the phone used to degrade much faster, even when those chargers were rated same 7-12w only.
My prediction Fastest: Xiaomi, Slowest : lagsung and Mango 😂😂😂
OnePlus ❤️
genuine suggestion:
kindly change the format, [i know to shorten the video length this may be best]
but just try to elongate the video, by talking about more in-depth details, and as much info on the screen as possible..
e.g. wattage of charger, input voltage of your setup, capacity of battery, ion or polymer, max supported amperage etc
also do talk for minimum 1 min about each phone.. its results etc
what shouldve been, what was experienced, expectations met,
& most importantly downsides of everything, or UNIQUE remark, that would enhance THIS style of videos, by you, and be different/more genuine experience among the sea of other videos like this on youtube
p.s. dont go into my details, i have many other accounts, been following you for a long time
much love as always :)

Really thought the Redmagic was gonna do great with its 165w charging.
its 80w not 165w except if this is the chinese variant

Fastest is IQOO 12 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max is the slowest.
Edit - I never expected OnePlus to beat IQOO since the battery size difference is 400mAh. Also didn't check the Xiaomi's battery size before commenting so my bad.
iPhone : Mere ancestors aur bujurg 2ghante ke upar lete he, me bhi utna time leta hu. 😅😂💀
