- In this video we'll do some side by side game testing with an EVGA RTX 3060 Ti FTW3 Graphics Card to show you the bottlenecking that occurs using a fairly current gaming computer(2018), and a gaming computer from 2014.

Neither system was overclocked for the testing

Hey bro i have a question will i have a bottleneck between I5 12400F and 3060ti ?
What can you recommend me to buy for my first ever gaming pc? I'm planning to buy RTX 3060 with an Intel i3-12100F. But at the same time, I'm not sure if that CPU will be enough for that card. I'm also not sure, if I should just jump to the 3060 TI instead of the 3060.
I would love to know what's best to buy for either the TI or normal 3060 - I first thought the TI would be better since it has 12 GB Vram instead of 8 GB, but the i3 will bottleneck the 3060 TI.

Hi been watching your channel for a while, even bought me a hp z840. Can the hp z840 handle the NVIDIA RTX 3070 Ti fe or even a NVIDIA RTX 3080 fe. I have the 1125 W power supply.
Thank you for being a part of the community! Both cards will work in the Z840. However, some versions of those cards will require you to modify the internal plastics and possibly the side panel.

I have a i7 7700k and 3060ti old Alienware Aurora but it only manage maximum 160ish frames but typically it stays around 110-140 frames in Apex legends

Great video.Watched it, loved it and bought one from Amazon. Gigabyte GeForce Rtx windfirce R3 version and plugged it in to my HP Z820 workstation with 1250 watts of PSU power. At power on workstation sounds beeping error.and did not even boot! Though it is the power supply issue, this card recommends 600 watts or more! I removed the power cable and tried it again ,same issue which tells me incompatibility or bad board from get go. I will try another newer PC to see if board is bad m from get go before sending it back. I used 3060 card on Z820 and worked fine. Any ideas, comments, guidance is highly appreciated. FYI- Tried Nvidia 3060ti on my pc station (HP Z820) and it did not work. Computer did not even boot. It seems compatibility issue. I believe it has to do with chip set. 256 bit vs. 192 bit.

The bottlenecking should be minimal.

Hello, I've been struggling with graphics card since a long time. I have gt 610 and want to upgrade to RTX 3060 TI. So will it be compatible with i3 8th gen, 8gb ram and 60hz monitor? You might experience a little bit of bottle-necking with the i3 cpu. Also, you should look at upgrading to 16GB of memory. The RTX 3060TI is a good value GPU, and is more then capable of running those particular games.

Instead of a 3060ti if your only playing these games it will bottleneck so you should go with something like a gtx 980 or 1060 6gb, rx 590 8gb and a few more to not bottleneck

If you can get a good deal on an i7-9700 or better cpu, it would be a nice upgrade for you.

There should be little to no bottlenecking with that cpu. The cards are very similar in performance. Pick the card that has better driver support for the games that you play.
I have the same specs (i7-4790, 16gb ram and rtx 3060 Ti with b85m-d3h Mobo) but when I play games ( valorant and csgo ) the GPU usage suddenly spikes to 100% and game crashes. Please someone help me I have tried everything from drivers update, bios update re-installing the game and the issue is still there. 😭

I have the exact same card but i got a i7 9700k clocked at 4.9ghz i play destiny 2 at 1080p high-highest settings and get around 165+ fps from what I've played so far, I wanna get a new monitor so I can play 1440p

That's not too bad. You can try tweaking your settings to get better FPS.

Rtx 3060 ti gigabyte 8gb oc pro with intel core i5 8600k in 2k resolution any game after 30 min start bottlneck start to be like gpu on 98 90 % ..... and ruin my gpu performance fucking cpu botttlenck now i need to change my motherboard to a new one to support new intel cpu and need to change the cpu with new one just tu play fucking normal without masive frame drop because cpu come 98% like my gpu and i have max 45 60c in games so not the heat its the problem on cpu
