    Wow. So beautiful. I was doing archeology when student and it's amazing what is this french studio is doing with the AC series. People got used to think that old architectures was purely white, while actually everything was painted. Incredible. I bought Unity, Origins, Odyssey and Vahala. Playing them at 4k + RTGI is such a wonderful thing. 7900 XTX + 7800x3D

    Thanks for uploading! Was wondering whether the game was worth it but after seeing this and Egyptologists saying it's the closest thing we have to a time machine, I'm convinced it is very accurate. Btw, do the NPCs have subtitles? I can recognize a few words but not enough to know what they're saying. Apparently it's not gibberish, it's reconstructed Egyptian with modernized pronounciations. Can recognize a few deity names in conversations, would be cool to know what they're talking about.

    This is beautiful! 😍 Love it! Love the walkthrough. Where was the Ptah Temple though? There are Ptah statues but, there also is Hathor in the Temple. The cows in the Temple I see is the Ancient Egyptian Goddess Hathor.

  • @SusiBlumentopf

    First: Memphis is not in Nubia (=Ethiopia or Somalia) and portraying the Egyptians as Black Africans in general is historically WRONG. In the Delta they were more Europeans with lighter skin tone, in the south they had the same skin tone as today's Arabs and Semites - a little more light beige.
    Secondly, there are also a few things wrong with these animated walking tours. Stairs were on the left and right sides, ramps in the middle. The population was only allowed into the temple courtyard, not into the sanctuary like priests. Only the high priest and the Pharaoh were allowed into the darkest secret sanctuary of the god. So people couldn't just march in and pray in front of statues. The language did not consist predominantly of e vowels, the addition of e is what linguists do in order to be able to pronounce and understand Egyptian at all.
    Thirdly, the way people walk is poor. Not only do people walk back and forth with their knees bent, but they also stretch the knees after each step, so that they also move up and down as they walk. So you should program stretching the people's legs as another movement int walking.

      Don't know if you read the title but this is from Assassins Creed. It's more or less just loosely based on ptolemaic Egypt. It doesn't pretend to be accurate.

    • @amberbank1986

      Egyptians were not white or black, they are closer to brown.

    • @SusiBlumentopf
      @SusiBlumentopf 5 місяців тому

      @@amberbank1986 we are not talking from today's mixed population of Egypt. In ancient times they were pale, only the Nubians far in the South had been brown. In Hellenistic and Roman times 2500-1500 years ago the Egyptians (mostly North towards Mediterranean Sea) were white. Arabs are white, too - only a very little more beige-light brown because of the sun.
      And it is sickening always to talk how people have been looking like, today are looking like, and if someone is allowed to smear color on his face, color his hair, wear dread locks or play music. Or what one is allowed to eat and what name his food has. The most racist and intolerant groups on Earth are the so-called "Anti-racists", Wokies and Lefties.

      Man, look at the hieroglyphs egyptians are not white.
      Real egyptians who were behind the egyptian civilizations, pyramids and all were long gone & was under the ptolemaic period when the romans came. & the greeks were pale white, i think.

    • @SusiBlumentopf
      @SusiBlumentopf 5 місяців тому

      @@amberbank1986 as you might know, man was always painted darker brown on hieroglyphs because working outside, women were always painted nearly white because working in the house. Has nothing to do with their real skin color. Only Nubians from deep South were painted black.
