Love the green color choice for the '91 Mazda Miata MX5, and as for the name for the car I was thinking of this: The Emerald Spitfire, maybe that could work.
I find using sharpies (my sharpies are over 15 years old at this point, but still going strong) tend to dull if not strip the molotow chrome. Do you also find this or are my sharpies just that far gone, lmao. I've also been experimenting with drilling a small divot ffor headlamps/spot/fog lamps and filling it with a drop of uv gel, which looks fab if you can get the detail down and not run whent he gel hits it.
@@DieCastRestos between 10minutes to a few days. Every time I've tried to colour over it it lifts or smears off with the sharpy. I can dab it and itl work 60% of the time though, so there's that. And yeah the resin looks really good, it also effects molotow chrome unfortunately but it just turns it more silver/speckledy. Anything with a round light and no decals I've started to drill a mm or so and put half a drop in it to form the convex glass. Well worth a go. Just get a good iv torch or a gel nail setting lamp.
Brilliant work!

Fantastic job is always there Jason Happy New Year I think the car should be called The Green Machine have a good one and God bless my friend
I thing the name Green Lily suits the car.
looks smooth and fresh. :) lovely details. ^^ good thing most of them were engraved, thesy almost vanished under HW's paint shower.
Very subdued British roadster kinda vibes, probably what I’d kit out my miata with if I had one. green tea/tea leaf for a nickname?
Great build!

Sounds as if the drying Sharpie is lifting that Molotow. How long are you leaving the Molotow to dry for? Also that UV technique sounds interesting

Another great job!
As for a nickname……
My first thought was….
Green Dream
Then I got another one…
Emerald Dawn
What ya think?
Emerald sounds like a good start. Emerald Warrior? Emerald Knight? could work, too. :)
"Esmeralda", Spanish for emerald.
Hot wheels. 1991. Mazda. MX. 5. Miata custom
Great, but if you want superb, should have put a clear glass or plastic window in
Headlight are a bit off scale, they looks kinda ridiculously from side
That roof should have been treated with a little more love, looks awful
his mx5 is terrible looking but you made great success of making it look good!
Looks like a regular miata to me
