I didn’t take the test until I knew I was ready. Sounds like many Americans did the complete opposite and managed to *pass,* which is terrifying that they’re operating vehicles on the road now.

I really love the styling of that car, it looks phenomenal. I'm okay with EVs to an extent, I would totally make some power generators such as water turbines or solar. In theory it could be quite affordable to run these cars in the right situations.
They have been affordable for a decade. Right now, you can get a nissan leaf for $4000 that does 85miles to the charge, drive it every day, and not spend a penny on it for literally years. I've had mine for 2 years and have saved something like $8000 if I were to be using my ICE. Energy at home is pretty much nothing to charge, especially if you already have solar. There are tons of free charging stations, but then again, it's like $4 for a full charge. If I really needed to replace the battery in like 10 years, it's only $2200 (not including labor), but by then you may as well buy a newer one.

They probably crammed batteries in every corner they could spare. It's got a 210kwh battery. It apparently weighs 3,000 pounds. For context, most normal road cars have settled on about 60kwh.
I find it funny that I'm a dealer that ordered a few and I have not been able to drive one yet. From what I have seen it is a pretty cool SUV. Recalls have been a pain though.

I just feel bad. We even planned a whole event around the delivery for the customer but we had to cancel it. Plus we were never an electric dealer before this so it’s our first go around. Gonna have to replace the whole battery due to the water leakage issue.

lol, that's not a thing. You trip plan every time you get in the car. Range anxiety only happens when you are driving to extremely rural places that are hundreds of miles away from the nearest town. Even then, charge stations are popping up in those places constantly now. Also, it shouldn't take more than 8 hours to fully charge the hummer ev on a 110v wall socket. Either you neighbor is doing it wrong, or something is seriously broken. If you live near or in-town, having to deal with range anxiety just isn't a thing that you think about. Just park at a charge station, or just always plugin at home. I've had EVs for 5 years now, and have only spent time at a charger a handful of times since my car charges at home every day. People saying that range is an issue are like 10 years behind on the times. The charge networks reach pretty much everywhere now, and trip planning is just part of driving.

Bigger boxier cars are easier to drive = great visibility, I learned to drive in a Lincoln Navigator on narrow roads
