Appreciate the video. Only criticism I have is that I wish you would have talked more about, and shown more of the stability of the tripod; after all, that's what a tripod is for.
Thanks for the review. However, although you quickly mentioned stability, you didn’t really discuss or demonstrate both positives and negatives (everything has both). For example, I noticed that every time you set it up, you extended the middle post, which decreases stability. Related thereto, is the maximum height, which i do not believe is great with the PD. Even, when you extended the center column a bit, it did not result in an eye level set up. Obviously, additional height can often introduce added packed size and weight, but that is a trade-off that everyone needs to consider. Of course, nowadays rear LCD flip screens are becoming more common, so I expect more photogs will be using that, especially for landscape, not wildlife. As importantly, you did not discuss the mounting mechanism and the type of quick release plate included.
Great long term review. I have a Peak Design tripod. I'm shopping for an L bracket that will switch quickly from landscape orientation to portrait orientation. I notice that your L bracket mounts fine in landscape mode. Which brand and model is it? Does it also mount in portrait mode? I'm planning to use an L bracket with my Z7 and with a Z9 I have on order. Thanks in advance.
I probably would. I've seen some tests and it seems like the carbon fiber is not only lighter but noticeably more stable and better at reducing vibrations

Did you regret that you didn’t get the carbon fiber version?
