Love the video buddy very informative and this will help me price commercial jobs in the future sir. Thanks for such great videos … I am at work at my LEO late tonight working on reports !!! So this was a big help!!! About to go home to family…. Thanks again buddy for videos you just don’t know how much your knowledge and experience helps me too to price jobs!!!
Great video Mike. Thank you for sharing the helpful tips and info with us. That sounds so nice to be able to go home and have a walk with the wife in the evening after making a good paycheck and NOT killing yourself to do it Lol
Because this is a side business for me (well, a full-time business ran on part-time hours 😂), my one rule is I don’t wash at night and I don’t wash on weekends. Those are designated for family time. So I don’t do much commercial work. I price commercial work the same price as residential, and rarely get the bid, which is kind of my intention in the first place. I price it high, and if they happen to accept it (which a few have), it’s gonna be at a price that even my family will say “yeah, that makes total sense to go do”. Obviously when this turns full-time for me in the near future, I will adjust that mindset (maybe). But as of now, I’m perfectly content with residential 😎👍🏼
Mike, this kind of pricing would puts be much higher than other companies in my area giving bids. I would be at $1400 ($500+500+40%) I just bid a dealership building that is 3 stories and 4 times the size of that Verizon building at $1,400 and not getting them. Residential seems so much more lucrative in my area; there seems to be a huge gap in pricing that my house pricing is too high for this calculation. What are your thoughts?
@@jamestribbitt9684 I hear you. It’s weird how it works. It can be a mystery. It has a lot to do with your market too. It seems that commercial work gets swallowed up by the larger companies. Probably by referrals. But once you get in, you’re in.

It looks exactly what you wanted it to look like 😆 What is the average ticket for an average two story house out your way. Our average down here for a two story house is between two and three and that’s not acid washing. Acid washing is double but you really need to know what you doing
