I am happy that it gets better! But since they said a normal player will get just a few uniques in a whole season i dont think its good design if the class only feels good months and months into the game. Power should be gained slowly. But fun and not feeling resource starved shouldn't be something you have to have uniques to do.
With Aspect of the Umbral, for one point in Neurotoxin, your Poison Creeper will also Slow enemies, so this should double the amount of spirit you gain from each use of the Creeper's active. Combined with the Packleader boon, and the bonus crit chance from Scythe Talon and your Ravens, you should be able to generate quite a lot of ability resets on Poison Creeper to sustain your spirit and reliable, spirit-free damage sources from your companion skills. I currently think the best leveling strategies for Druid will involve all three companions + this interaction
Sounds like the only way to fix it is to be a werewolf. I really like the aesthetic of the human druid, and would like the option to not shapeshift at all.
werewolf sucks up alot of spirit still, ive got bloodhowl and trample both specced into spirit gain and still sometimes feels clunky lol....i honestly wish it would shift to basic attack if you ran out of spirit to use shred
Bouldercane and pulverize use TONS of spirit without umbral ring on pulverize it is a useless build. Bouldercane also requires almost every item slotted with proper gear or it does not work well. Im mainly watching this because of that. Im running out of spirit for boulder and trying to find a way to keep it going within my hurricane@WinterXI
Great video! It’s funny, for ex Sorcerers have the ability to already regen Mana but Blizzard decided to make an Aspect any class can use to regen Primary Resource based off CC 🥴. Why not just have us Druids also regen Spirit n problem solved 🤷🏽♂️. It’s as if the Barbarian and the Sorcerer had a baby which inherited the worst traits of each to sustain power. I’ve been making it work (lvl 93 currently) but not sure why they made certain things so complicated with this class. Seems like they want to force feed us trading more power vs a sliver of more Spirit.
That’s promising. So I guess all these options at once would be overkill, it would be about finding a balance and finding options that fit in with your build

Why… for the love of what’s good, is earth spike’s tree node that spawns a second spike not getting recognized? This makes it regenerate 20 spirit when cast on immobilized or stunned enemies? The attack speed is good, and perfectly synergies with landslide that has a chance to immobilize. Yes this probably isn’t that crazy later, but it did feel pretty good in the betas
Good call out, it's a good combo it just seems a little tough to slot in earth spike in some builds. Someone recently told me that if you use the aspect that makes it a line with a cool down apparently every hit generates spirit. I didn't get to test this but it sounds really cool!

Druid needs pasaive regen. Tried leveling one last night and gave up at level 20. Just the fact that I can dismount to engage a fight and be all out of spirit, no, just no. With the rouge I am ready to engage, govr the druid some passive regen to atleast fill you up while you travel.

There is one more unique that works really well. Fists Of Fate gloves. They proc CC so often and paired with Umbral it's crazy. I have 6/3 Wild impulses and no spirit problem. Everybody on those gloves are looking at dmg, but dmg is just nice bonus and if it proc max it can one hit Butcher 10 lvls above you. Still, real power of those gloves is not in dmg but in Spirit regen. Lucky hit chance to restore primary resource Lucky hit chance to Immobilize Lucky hit chance to Daze All 3 of those paired with Umbral are huge spirit regen. Well, 1st one even don't need Umbral. On top of that Lucky hit chance to heal you for big chunk of your health and finally "Your attacks have chance to randomly deal 1% up to 300% dmg (I have one with 270%). As I said, everybody is looking at that last one (that's Aspect) and conclude it's too much of a gamble and not worth. They don't realise that is just some nice bonus, real power is in CC, and paired with Umbral equals no spirit problems. Single target is as with all Druid builds a bit trickier, but you have listed paragons for that. Nice video btw. Keep up the good job.
If you go with the key aspect Earthen Might, you have to switch to Earth Spike for a generator. With a 35% lucky hit chance, it will dramatically increase your Earthen Might procs and can turn you from tool to cool in one shot. I'm a fn dog, I poop, you pick it up, got it?
every time you want to cast a spell you cant because you're out of spirit. i want to like the druid but i just cant. the whole spirit generation, sluggishness, slow cast rate of lightning and everything just makes it feel like a piece of shit.

Weave shred and human form attacks was really new to me, really cool concept.

Shred is cool, 3 dashes and 3 attacks for only 35 spirit cost.
Yea im going with storm strike and shred to start. Focusing on a shapeshifting build using all of them.

All of this still makes the sub 30 leveling process tedious in the extreme compared to every other class I've tried.
