Never got a chance to see the Beatles. Old Ed Sullivan TV spots and Hollywood bowl is about all that was recorded other than Let it Be on the rooftop. So happy to see these songs performed live. Gives me a better sense of the awe inspiring song writing of the Beatles, done so masterfully by this extraordinary band, The Analogues.
It is truly hard to believe that any group anywhere could cover the complexity of Lennon/McCartney with such accuracy.I shoud know.I followed their career from 1964 all the way through and I am still amazed at how prolific their songs were and the complexity of their compositions.They would be proud of these spot-on recreations.
Laurent. When I heared this song for the first time it almost made me cry. My mum is 87 now, when she passed away I,ll play this on her funeral and cry my eyes out. May God rest her soul Laurent. This is one of the Beatles best songs in all it,s symplicity

I don't think there would be any band daring to include a song like this into their repertoire, as The Beatles did with this fabulous McCartney piece. Love it!
@@Danny085 I am torn between the 2, The Analogues are possibly more authentically like the Fabs, but Fab Faux bring a different dimension, kind of if the Fabs had all emigrated to NYC and got together again, just different, in a brilliant way.
One of my favorite covers I've ever seen. So good! They emulated the Beatles' version perfectly. The vocals, instrumental, synchronization--It's all so spot-on.

A couple of things I find really interesting ( being a long loved beatles fan and muscian) The vocals and especially their blend are fantastic... looking at the videos... the solo vocals are often shared to create the blend. Its so obvious really but how often do you you see bands these days sharing a vocal to create a blend.( I'm not talking harmonies) and how relaxed these vocals are delivered... Really layed back and relaxed but so unified, like one. 2. TEMPO... Its intrinsically in our nervous systems to perform live tracks 40-50bpm faster than our original recording. i.e adrenalin. It was so beautiful to hear these live performances at the right tempo... Which is why it sounds so relaxed and chilled! Even the rocking numbers. Such an amazing project and I think if muscians look hard at your footage they could learn so much. Thank you!
The Analogues play on a "click" Paul, just to make sure they are playing the same tempo as on the albums. An orchestra has the conductor, they have "the click".
I'm a guitarist, been playing for over 500years, a Beatles fanantic, how they were so prolific never ceases to amaze me, I love this song, the chords are incredibly clever, but what really knocks me out is the middle 8/ breakdown, it's so catchy with the Hammond organ riff, absolutely mind blowing, still haven't managed to work the chords out for that bit, oh well, maybe I'll nail it in another 500years, obviously I could watch it on utube but that's cheating, it's much more satisfying when you work it out for yourself, you get a sense of achievement ❤

Bart’s guys remind me of The Band. Multi talented musicians but The Analogue have almost become archivists of the late Beatles music. Dispelling the myth that the late Beatles couldn’t be reproduced on stage. It would’ve been amazing to hear how the Beatles would’ve approached the live performances of say Sgt Pepper’s. Personally I think they would’ve improvised to make the act sound ‘almost’ like the original. The Analogue have surpassed that and done homage to what was produced in the studio without a single detail or cock up excluded. Well done guys. Get touring.

But the Analogues sound more like the Beatles. Yes, the Fab Faux are good, but the Analogues have the edge for me.
