  • In an episode full of escapes, Mike and Erin leave the ranch for a 24 hour vacation with neighbors Nick and Stephanie, but before they can leave a bull escapes and is dangerously close to the highway. While on vacation, the escape theme continues as the crew tries their hand at one of the latest crazes in entertainment, an escape room.

Mini vacations are so important. Farms, ranches and any other type self employment keeps you busier than regular 40 hr jobs.
Glad to see y’all can still make time for you.
It’s great to get away but it’s always great to get back home too😊

It was so nice to see you guys escaping the ranch if only for a weekend. It's extremely important to spend time together as husband and wife. My ex-wife and I never did this, we spent all our time absorbed by the children and work and I believe this was the downfall of our almost 29 year marriage We never made time for ourselves we forgot about us and only concentrate on the children and work., before we knew it I know longer knew her and she no longer knew me and we grew apart. It's nice to see with as busy as you two are with the children and the ranch you still make time for each other. Don't ever forget to do this because I for one know that it helps to make a strong marriage and a lasting relationship. I go back at times and wonder if we had made time for each other when we still be together, but after being divorced for three years now I guess that's water under the bridge and I'll never know. Thank you Mike and Erin for sharing.

When we have a few extra dollars we buy a book of movie passes. When we're overworked and overtired this gives us an Escape, it doesn't matter if we have any money in our wallets or not because we have the passes. You have to turn off your phone and escape to another world for 2 hours. The movie theaters really close to home and this is a great stress reliever for us we do it a few times a month. Glad you guys got to go and have some fun the escape room looked cool there should do a farm-themed one.

      @@OurWyomingLife Hi Mike,
You most certainly should. My father-in-law is actually looking to convert the ranch here into more of a "dude" ranch as he is getting up in years. Neither my husband and I are ranchers by profession. I am a teacher (high school) and he is a commercial pilot, but we both help out when and where we can. I am going to show Paul (my father-in-law) your video. I think the "escape room" thing would be amazing for our potential guests. I am told that around here in the 20s and 30s you had gangsters as well, especially Bonnie and Clyde who spent several months in the Childress area.

You guys needed a break! I know how it feels though.. I don't like leaving out little farm for more than a day or two.It does seem very exhausting being in the city and thinking about home. I just like being home I guess!

Another great video. I find that a trip on the Harley or a day on the lake fishing always recharges the batteries. I could go for some go cart racing. Erin I challenge you to a race:)
