This press has worked like a charm for my projects ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxajoEbapTfqWaadnqb04h6U576yxXp-FE . I didn't even secure it to my table top, mainly due to the fact that I was using a 15 lbs drill vise. It's not flimsy at all as to what others have claimed it to be. Make sure the locking nuts and levers are secured and there won't be any issues with light pressure and patience. I was able to drill through aluminum, plastic, and steel (steel took a while) with no problems at all. Yeah it took a little longer than a regular drill press, but I don't have the space OR the money for one.The instruction manual was worthless, but luckily assembling the press was intuitive. However, the manual would be good for ordering replacement parts if needed. There is a nice breakdown of the parts that are included in the kit. Before ordering, make sure it is compatible with your unit, it is clearly stated what models the press is compatible with. This was an excellent purchase for $40!!
This is a valuable addition to my woodwork collection ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxbnOKZBE4evMO5V2vroHeCjq6d_MV6wJO I still will rate this woodwork plan as the best in my reference library. It always seem to stand out from the rest whenever you go through the library. This is a masterpiece.
Wow, hello. This second video leaves me ADMIRED by the quality of your realization, they are masterpieces. And also on my hunger, for a neophyte like me, on the products you use, for example at minute 5:11. Of course you don't have to reveal all your manufacturing secrets, I understand. I can only applaud the quality of your work. Thank you for sharing. Sincerely. Etienne ------ Waouh, bonjour. Cordialement. Etienne
Great project! Love how you always add some nice trim. Just because you're the only one seeing it doesn't mean it has to look like crap. You're like the old craftsmen, even their jigs looked good.
I was stolen and all my equipment was stolen. Can you help me with some donations, not money in equipment, and even if it is idle and has no value, I can fix it and be glad to help me
Respect for the lot of work, a super drilling table. A little note, put a round disc under the drilling circle as a sacrificial piece of wood. Then you only need to keep turning and always have a clean base. LG handicraft grandpa.
I was stolen and all my equipment was stolen. Can you help me with some donations, not money in equipment, and even if it is idle and has no value, I can fix it and be glad to help me
It gives me bad memories to see that you’re not wearing proper eye protection while using a pneumatic nailer! In my middle age days, we went camping a lot with our children, well anyway this young father of four who was a carpet installer stopped going camping with us because he got fired due to a staple injury (guess where & why). I myself had 2 strikes (close calls) & subsequent numerous foul balls (was religiously wearing eye protection). Keep up the excellent craftsmanship & eyes!
Really enjoy your videos Mr Vereshchak. You are a great craftsman. That has to be one of the best drill table tops I have ever seen - very functional and cleverly thought out.
This is one of, if not the best example of a D.P.T. that I have seen, and I have looked at a lot to see what I am going to build for myself. Thank you for some great, and yet simple solutions to this build.
Mr. Vereshchak, you are a true craftsman who takes pride in everything you make. Even the jigs are a work to behold. You make everyone who love woodworking want to be a better craftsman. I know you make me want to be a better woodworker. Thank you for sharing these videos with all of us.
I was stolen and all my equipment was stolen. Can you help me with some donations, not money in equipment, and even if it is idle and has no value, I can fix it and be glad to help me
So impressed! Only thing I would add would be some leveling screws for the center insert. But that's only because I saw someone else do it. I love how you sand the T-track. That looks so good! Making one now and because of this video I might need a few changes. Can you comment on the fence pieces you used and sources?
You are a master, not only in wood craftsmanship. Your videos are equally done well. I like the music and the way you are using it as dramatical intensifier. Its a double pleasure to view your videos. Thank you!
Very nice project, very nicely finished. Very pleasing to watch. One day your daughter will understand how well you made things. Best regards from Switzerland, Rob
That is one awesome drill press table! Outstanding job and with all the bells and whistles! That is way outside my poor budget. Thanks for the great video!
It looks like a really nice design. Adding either dialog or text to to the video to explain what you're doing, and why you're doing it, would add to your excellent video and editing. Thanks for sharing!

Compliments!!! Great beautiful job, practical and very, very beautiful also aesthetically .... Great! Come funziona?
Wow, you do very professional looking work. True craftsmanship. I am just starting out in wood working. I now have a gold standard to strive for in my work. Thanks for sharing.
great video. not sure if you will see this message but where did you get the fence with the numbers etched onto it? if you or anyone else has a link to it i would be very greatful.
It should be noted that if you don't level the top with epoxy and gravity, the edging better be joined and also all that sanding will make the top not as flat as it can unless you are super careful about sanding evenly. Also, after your glue-up of the 2 sheets of 3/4 inch plywood, there is a chance the table will curve up or down. Since my drill press stock metal base is small, I planed a 2x4 and checked with a trusted straight edge from Fulton. I put that inset as far as I could, underneath from left to right. I counter sunk about 15 pan head screws, which were counter sunk with a forstner bit. I did not glue it in case I needed to make a change. I rounder the edges to my liking. There are a lot of gotcha with these. One would be if your table saw is not dead 90 degrees, your edging will not miter properly. I bet I have $250.00 + with the wood, screws, fence, t-track formica, and router bits. Along with a vix bit for the screws and also the brass threaded inserts and thumb screws. Also a plug cutter for plug cutter for the edging screw holes. I did not want to nail it because I wanted the edging to also help with warping as I live near water. There are 20 or 30 details that needed to be thought out, if you've never done this before. I have a few months into it, working a few short days per week. As for the replaceable cut out, I will be adding flat topped leveling screws to accommodate inaccurate plywood sizes. Also, my table has formica and my inserts will be bare plywood, maybe with some light finish. So getting that depth cut right will take a moment to think it out. That's another reason I want the leveling screws under the insert. I'm still trying to figure out if I want a 4x4 square or about that size round. I think square is better because it's easier to crank out inserts accurately on the table saw. Personally, I'd like the ruler to be adjustable. I still have to work out the press' hight adjuster issue hitting. I'll probably use a 90 degree drill adapter and some rods and a new handle in the front on that 2x4 support. Making a drawer box underneath is really not a bad idea. I don't have that figure out yet. Hope this helps someone.
Thanks!. I'm familiar with with the Incra T-Track with ruler. I was inquiring about the engraved "8020" extrusion that you're using for a fence, shown up close at 18 min 7 seconds into the video. I've not seen that before.

Could you give the indications of the materials used and the product passed over the worktop, is it a resin? Or what else? How does it work? Do you have links where you can buy it?
Hi, it's epoxy resin)
Very Nice. I really like the large table. Plenty of room

Hi thanks 4 the vid very impressed I think I will have a go with my drill 👍🏻♥️
C'est un magnifique travail d'orfèvre. Félicitations ...

This is a great job there. I like it very much. One question, what kind of stand drill is it? Thanks for the video.
Thanks 😊 It’s Drill Press made Ukraine 1980’s Model -2M112, weight 120 kg
One word only PERFECT 👍

What drill press is that? Interesting design

Très joli travail bravo à bientôt salut Jeannot 🛠😉
Thank you very much for another excellent job! Sincere congratulations. Did it ended up being truly flat?
Nicely work, executed very well. But... basically your first drill on your stop block proves me that Mathias Wandel is right about drill press tables.
Nice job...like all your builds
Thanks for watching ☺️
May I ask what you rubbed on the table before you put the branding iron down to prevent the area outside the logo from turning brown?
I wiped the table with a damp cloth to keep the table from burning😊
Damp cloth, so simple. I'm embarrassed it never occurred to me, thank you.
Curious when you would need two stop blocks at the drill press?
I barely have the skill to watch this, much less do it. This is really impressive
Same here... fascinating work.
Great woodworking and kettlebells 👍😎💪

Very nice project.
Where does the t track aluminum profile with the measuring scale come from?
Timecode 13:37
Thank you! I bought it in local building store.
The ruled T-Track (8020?) at 18:07 looks awesome! Can you post a source URL?

A stunning piece of Art as well as a stunning piece of equipment, epoxy must be inexpensive over there to use it on a workpiece
Very impressive and well thought out.

That’s an interesting drill press. It’s as if it’s always wanted a larger table. Ours in the US seem to be designed for metal work where the tables are small round and made for exposure to cutting oil.
its also was table for metal, but I reconfigured it for woodworking)
It would be nice if you gave a list of the hardware you used.
Beautiful Press Drill Table, I Really Like It And Wander Where Can I Get The Actual Plans For It.
Thank you! Unfortunately I don't have plan for it 🙁.
