    This format feels like Tom Scott with a little extra science. I like it!

      Thanks, I love Tom Scott's vids! I'm definitely kinda trying to channel that a bit with this one.

    Good stuff. Just like the Signal Path, you're not afraid of an equation. Wish there were more like this.

    I watched both videos, and the only difference that I can see is that the font is different in the equations and I think they redid the graphic at the 1:50 mark.....

      There was some audio & color clean up, plus fixed a spot where I dropped a frame. Also used a higher res version of the equation

    This youtube channel and your videos make Keysight seem like the very best company to work at. No competition at all.

    but seriusly, why cars didnt have a simple sensor system like distance from next car that calculates from your current sped if you are at safe distance to brake or not and then give you a visual or sound alarm? its something achieved easily with an arduino.

    Please do more installments on autonomous driving, problems Teslas have had, software developments, sensor improvements and function, anything at all would be great. Thanks.

    how about the safety of people outside a car? we never talk about street getting so dangerous for pedestrians and cyclist, only the safety of car passengers. cars are becoming like weapons on streets and drivers are getting more dangerous

    • @KeysightLabs

      As a cyclist who got hit by a driver who didn't see me, I avoid the roads as much as possible. Mostly because I'm worried about human error / negligence. I think ADAS/AV has a huge potential to reduce vehicle-cyclist incidents.

    2 seconds on dry roads, 4 on wet, 10 on ice, and either zero or as far as geographically possible if there's a chance of appearing in a Russian dashcam video, depending on which side of the lens you're on …

      Yes! We have some great arb / function generator options. The chipsets are all Keysight-custom and you can figure out your frequency range & options on the site: www.keysight.com/us/en/products/waveform-and-function-generators.html

      Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame right down the road you should go look! There's a weird hole cut in the floor and some sort of 5th wheel with like a rudder or something? It's funky.

    In England, where drivers are trained properly, we have a rhyme, "only a fool breaks the two second rule" and that is the required safety distance between two vehicles. Self-driving cars belong in the US because none of you can bloody drive safely.

    • @bgbthabun627
      @bgbthabun627 Рік тому

      I agree, however it should be "brakes" not "breaks" don't you think?

    • @ronaldschild157
      @ronaldschild157 Рік тому

      We have this rule in the U.S. but it is not as effectively communicated as in your part of the world. I think the concept was first disseminated in America by the "Shell Answer Man" TV commercials.
