Great to see all this in one clip instead of just short clips in various documentaries. I have always been impressed with Meade's back up guitar and particularly enjoyed seeing Willard Watson's solo appearance at the end. Like I have said before keep them coming. Frank
Just listened to his second tune in this set, East Tenn. Blues which Clark called Poka River Blues. I learned it off an old vinyl decades ago and he throws in all the same licks here!
The great Wayne Hauser on banjo from Rural Hall, NC.
000 Sally Ann Johnson
2:26 Poca River Blues
5:00 Wednesday Night Waltz
8:24 Billy In The Lowground
10:20 Leather Britches
12:07 Chicken Reel
It always makes me chuckle to see the huge variation in body movement between Kessinger and Meade.
This is great stuff. This Clark Kessinger is amazing, I love it all and seeing the dancer.
The first dancer is Bois Sec Ardoin. He's joined by Willard Watson.
